| Name: Uchiha, Takeshi Nickname: Tak Age: 10 Gender: Male Height: 5"1 Weight: 108 lbs. Appearance: Takeshi is a relatively small child, standing only an inch over five feet high, and he's pretty much scrawny with not a lot of muscle tone yet, but definitely more than your average kid who wasn't working out to become a Shinobi. The boy's skin is a light tan color, and when exposed to more sun his skin tends to bronze a bit rather than burn. He has thick choppy black hair that shines with a very slight reddish hue when directly under the sun. His eyes are very peculiar for a pure-blooded Uchiha, being a brilliant sapphire blue rather than the more common obsidian black. The child has a small pointed nose, average sized rounded ears, his arms are toned for his age, and his hands have long fingers perfect for gripping things and performing hand seals. He keeps his nails trimmed all the time, sometimes having a bad habit of biting his nails if he's nervous. his legs are also rather toned for his age, though slender. His feet are perfect for running and jumping on, or used for kicks. He keeps his toes trimmed but he sometimes forgets about these more than his finger nails. His overall appearance has all kinds of girls, even old ladies doting on how cute he is. he finds all the attention to be too much, even when it's his Mom commenting. For clothing, Takeshi is usually seen wearing white, black, or grey t-shirts with the Uchiha family emblem on the back of them. They are either short collared or turtle-neck style t-shirts. He wears these with long black or grey cargo shorts that go down to his mid-calves and have lots of pockets and straps for putting supplies in. He wears a long black leather coat over this with the clan emblem embossed into the leather on the right upper arm area. His headband is warn either over his forehead or around his neck like a bandana, most of the time around his neck. To brace his arms and legs, he wears athletic tape, and he wears black leather gloves on his hands that have finger holes just past the knuckles. The gloves have metal plates on the backs of them. His feet are also bandaged with tape but his toes are free. He wears somewhat tall black leather shinobi boots with open toes. Village: Kirigakure no Sato Character Rank: D/Genin Clan: Uchiha Element: N/A (will unlock later IC) Personality:Takeshi is a bold, serious, and sensitive kid who does what he thinks is right, and seems to be rather stand-offish and stoic, and sometimes he's rude (but he's actually nice). However, this doesn't mean he's fearless. While he's not afraid of heights, or the dark, Takeshi is wary of girls (they creep him out. He's still in the "cooties" phase and finds them gross and weird). He also has a fear of gooey slimey things. Takeshi is also claustrophobic and prefers not to be in tight spaces or in crowded streets or rooms. He is also shy about meeting new people and expresses some nervousness in that he's quiet and not eager to speak up to strangers, especially females, who he might run away from because of reasons already stated. This only goes away after he feels comfortable around someone, and for that to happen, it may take a few days, maybe even a few weeks, but if you would do something untrustworthy, he would never befriend you, and he'd leave on first sight of you. He'd only work with someone he didn't like if he was forced to do so, and in that case, he wouldn't speak to them unless it was absolutely necessary. Besides those things, though he may sometimes seem cruel or cold, he's actually a very caring and kind young man, and though he's nervous about meeting people, he is actually really quite nice when gotten to be known. When Takeshi succeeds in making a friend, he would be loyal to them through thick and thin and help out in any way. The only time he would refuse to help someone is if the idea was completely stupid, and it'd get them killed. However, if someone didn't listen to his advice and did the stupid thing anyway, he'd try to save them from their own demise. However, Takeshi doesn't take kindly to betrayals and lies. He'd never forgive someone who would double-cross him and would rather see them dead than welcome back their friendship. That person who lost his trust would therefore, have to prove their worth, and that action would need to be accepted by Takeshi. Takeshi believes that being a shinobi is what he was born to do. Therefore he takes his missions and training very seriously and aims to succeed at all of them, as he wants to prove himself a wonderful Uchiha that's strong enough to protect his family and Clan, and maybe one day become the Mizukage. Against enemies, the boy is ruthless and would kill any target he deemed unworthy to live without remorse. He would not kill someone for petty means though, only if it was necessary to kill that person. He does however, like the feeling he gets when he's fighting. It gives him a rush, and makes him feel good. That being said, he enjoys a healthy competition, but he also knows where to draw the line. In his leisure time, Takeshi enjoys skateboarding, traveling the country-side, eating out, lots of intensive training, and generally enjoying being outside in nature. The boy is quite sensitive, as he's easily annoyed, and doesn't respond well to rude behavior, and get get rather rude himself if he feels he needs to. He also doesn't get many jokes. However, despite his short fuse, the boy is learning to control his anger, and better channel it towards productive means, like training. He also speaks rather well most of the time, and uses honorifics often. Note: Though mature for his age, Tak is still only a ten year old boy. He still has a lot to learn in life, and hasn't had to deal with hardships a lot of others have gone through. Therefore, though he's intelligent, well-spoken, and seems sharper than other kids his age, he has a lot to learn about humility and the way the world really works. It's a bumpy road ahead for our little hero in the making. Tenrou, Son of Hideaki was a great Jounin and a highly esteemed member of the Uchiha Clan. He had been a prodigy in his youth, and had to learn how to do a lot of things quickly during the war-torn era before the founding of the new great villages. His own father, Hideaki, had once been Clan Leader and was now the Clan's Elder who was in charge of keeping up of the Clan's sacred shrine, as well as making sure no one not permitted to know knew about the secret chamber within the shrine. Hideaki tutored Tenrou in the teachings of being a Shinobi Monk, but Tenrou was more interested in becoming one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist He got his chance to join when he was age Sixteen, showing amazing skill with the use of multiple blades, combined with chakra flow and Fuuinjutsu. He was welcomed as one of the Seven Swordsmen after he defeated one of it's members and rendered them unfit for battle. Hideaki was glad his Son had fulfilled his wish, but he warned his Son of becoming over zealous about his accomplishments. He said if Tenrou thought too much of himself and also forgot to respect his opponents' power, he would suffer great defeat.
Tenrou became one of the most elite of the village. He took great pride in his work, and when he battled, the rush of batttle made him feel amazing. There was nothing better than the fight! That is.....until he met her. Her name was Kazehana, and she was one of the Uchiha council members' daughters. She was a beautiful woman with long glistening brown hair and startling, rare blue eyes. She was working as an exam proctor when he met her, but it was love at first sight. He went and asked her on a date when she was done with the day of exams and she accepted his invite to the date. From then on, they were happy together, and in a few years they were married and had their first child, a daughter they named Kimiko.
Things were going great. There were little to no problems in the lives of the little family. Tenrou went on mission after mission, spending as much time as he could in between with his family, and goin to important Clan meetings and such. He trained his daughter whenever he could, but he knew she was upset with him, because he could hardly train her compared to some other fathers and their kids. Kazehana became a reserve unit so that she could spend all of her time home, cooking, cleaning, and training thier daughter, only being called in for dire missions. Kimiko was learnng how to use a sword, because she wanted to be like her father, and even though Kazehana wasn't good with a sword, as she was more of a taijutsu user, she was learning to use a blade too so she could further her daughter's tutelage, especially if anything ever happened to Tenrou. Birth of Takeshi- - Spoiler:
Ten years later, the impossible happened. After years of trying to have another child, and having given up, blaming it on injuries of battle, Kazehana bore Tenrou a Son, which they named Takeshi. He was a beautiful child, born with a full head of hair already and the same brilliant blue eyes as his mother, and having a sort of reddish-brown luster to his black hair, a reminiscent accent of his mother's hair color. Tenrou was happy to finally have a Son. He promised his wife that he'd take more time to be able to be home and train him when he came of age to become a Shinobi. This news made their daughter, Kimiko upset. Father had never said he'd take more time to train her. it was always whenever he could "fit time in". She looked disdainfully at her baby brother, jealous of all the attention he was getting, she felt pushed to the curb. It's a common reaction for older children to feel left out when a new baby comes into the family, but she was becoming more than just a little upset. She was really angry. She therefore didn't pay him much attention, only when their parents insisted she did, or when sometimes, he was left alone with her. Still, she knew that if she hurt him or neglected to feed him or change his diapers, she'd get into trouble, so she helped him as much as she could when they were gone, but would be happy to leave the house as soon as her parents returned.
From the time Takeshi learned to walk and talk, he learned to read and write, count and add, then to subtract, etc. Kazehana wanted her Son to be very smart and literate by the time he'd start to be trained to fight, so he could have the best headstart for the Academy. Being a Shibobi after all, wasn't all about fighting. It was also about being smart and making good choices. So, by age five, Takeshi had the equivalent of a middle school education already right at home. It was now though, time to train him to become a shinobi, not a bookworm. His Father would take over now for the most part, teaching him about each type of skill in the Shinobi world and the basics of how to perform them. It was no surprise that the boy was interested in learning about weaponry, swords and shuriken in particular, but what got Tenrou was how well Takeshi was affiliated with Ninjutsu. He had never seen a child learn Ninjutsu so quickly. It seemed Takeshi found his true talent there. Academy- - Spoiler:
At the age of seven, Takeshi was admitted to the academy early, since he passed the entrance exam with flying colors. This was a year before most others entered the academy, as the majority of students entered at age eight, when it was permitted. Kazehana had prepared her boy for this day since the age he started learning to speak, before he could even learn to walk properly, and now it was all paying off. She was so happy her little boy was in school to become a shinobi! She sent him off with a kiss, much to Takeshi's despise. He was getting to the age where he found kisses yucky and all things having to do with girls being disgusting. He still told his Mom he loved her though, because he did, and so he went to class.
Every day at the academy was fun, well mostly. Sometimes it was boring because of the fact that Takeshi had a copy of every school book at home to study and read at night. His bedroom was more or less cram school. Whenever he could though, Takeshi snuck out of the house to do some actual ninja training, like scaling the mountain and judging distances between people, coming up with attack strategies, trapping animals in practice for setting up traps, and learning how to make clones, blow up explosive tags, use his chakra, and chakra flow his weapons, as well as measuring exact chakra control. That was the hardest part, but for some reason, he seemed to be having trouble getting ahold of his element...by which his calculations told him it should be either fire or wind, but instead he was able to produce neither at the moment, nothing more than a small gust and a little ember.
Kimiko was now fifteen years old. She was jealous of her seven year old brother for all of his acccomplishments. Sure Mom had also drilled her witht he books and such, but she didn't get as much attention from Dad, and now here he was having all this adoration in the academy. She was glad that she was a Genin now and soon to be a Chuunin, as soon as the next exams came around. She could be away from home and be doing good and important things to get her mind off of her little brother. When she had to be at home though, and he asked her if she would train with him, she often yelled at him "NO!", or if she did decide to train him, she'd make sure to beat him. A couple of times she left him bruised and or bleeding, and this really upset her parents. She was taking her dislike of her little brother too far. They punished her therefore, taking away her at home priveleges and giving her a curfew to be in the hous eand asleep unless she had a mission that required leaving the village with her Sensei. She wasn't allowed to even go out if she wasn't doing something important. She blamed it on Takeshi of course, even though none of it was his fault. Takeshi decided that after the last time she hurt him, knocking some of his teeth out and breaking his nose, he'd leave her alone and not talk to her anymore. It was depressing.
Tenrou and Kazehana were concerned for their children. They had a big talk with Kimiko and she expressed why she hated her little brother. Once it was stated, Tenrou promised he'd spend more time with Kimiko and told her to apologize to Takeshi and try to be nicer to him. She was still upset, but she went to Takeshi's room and told him she was sorry anyway, thouh she half-heartedly meant it. As promised however, Tenrou payed more attention to his daughter, and he trained Kimiko in solo sessions, as well as dual sessions with Kimiko and Takeshi, to try and strengthen their relationship in a positive way. What resulted was a very competitive, but much nicer relationship. Takeshi promised he'd get really strong so he could beat his big sister, and Kimiko smiled and told him to "Bring it on." They gradually started to just hang out more casually in their spare-time, like watching movies with Dad on the TV in the living room, or helping Mom cook, or grandma garden and bake cookies.
Back at the academy, things were going a lot more smoothly than at home. Takeshi felt confident enough after three years in the academy to challenge the final exam. He performed each step required to pass, and he did so, passing with one-hundred percent in each section. His strongest subject was Ninjutsu, followed by Bukijutsu. His other skills were average, but his sensei felt for sure he'd be a great asset to the Shinobi Forces of Mizu no Kuni, and he wished the boy good luck on his journey to becoming a great ninja.
Going home with his shiny new Kirigakure headband and a smile on his face, everything seemed to be going wonderful. That is....until he reached his house. He greeted his Sister inside, who was crying and seemed to be relieved to see Takeshi. She came right up to him and hugged him, which was pretty weird to the boy. Because of all this, he pushed her off and backed up a little, cautious and worried. He drew a Kunai. It turned out however that this was indeed his actual sister, and she rushed Takeshi upstairs to their parents' bedroom. Inside, Mother was sponging cold ice water with a rag onto their father's forehead. She had multiple wounds and was bound in bandages, but everything else seemed to be fine. Their father though, was practically mangled. He was tightly bound in bandages around his waist and chest, and one of his hands was severed off...because there was a bandaged bloody stump. Perhaps the most curious, and horrible thing though, were the bandages wrapped around his face, concealing his eyes, that seemed to be either sunk in or gone. They were in fact gone. His Mother explained to him, like he had already done for Kimiko, that their father would no longer be able to do battle as a shinobi. He lost his good hand, and he was blind, his eyes having been taken out of their sockets. Grandfather was sitting on a chair in the corner, smoking a pipe, looking unperturbed but incredibly stern. He said, "I told him that if he didn't take his opponents seriously, that something like this would some day happen. You children....learn from this. Never underestimate your foe, no matter how powerful you think you may have become." Takeshi and Kimiko nodded, and they gave their love for their Father, who was fast asleep due to heavy sedatives, and they went out of the room to mourn and then to get their minds off of what happened. Something else happened that day though. Something powerful and moving. Takeshi vowed he'd never let anything like this happen again. He trained harder and harder, and steeled his nerves stronger with each passing day, replacing sadness with strength, willpower to overcome obstacles, fueled by passion to protect his family, and the anger that burned inside, for the man who defiled his father's face. If he ever found that man, he'd kill him, and he'd make sure to make it as ugly as possible. That day Takeshi became a true Uchiha.
