|   Name: Rei Uchiha Nickname: N/A Age: 17 year Gender: Male  Height: 5'8" Weight: 170lbs Appearance: Rei is a man of average height. He is considered one of the more "beautiful" men. His general appearance is that of closer to a female than a male: he has long raven black hair that seems to have its own mind of style of wild and messy. He weights more than he looks like he does, totaling to 170lbs. Despite his feminine appearance, he is actually very fit under his clothing, possessing a ripped body from constant training. He possesses a straight back and correct posture. His skin is somewhat pale despite his activity in the sunlight, his eyes are a piercing black that causes women to fall into without realizing their gaze is upon him. For his attire, he wears loose fitting black clothes. Typically he wears short sleeve shirts but he has been known to wear longer sleeves in the winter. His shirts always sport his clan crest as a proud inheritor of the Uchiha legacy. His pants are typically 3/4 length loose fitting black pants/shorts with a black ninja pouch attached to the middle of his lower back. White bandages cover his legs and arms, these cover constant wounds from training and battle, so Rei has adopted the appearance regardless of wounds or not. He possesses a set of scars on his face from his uncle's abuse at an early age. Two long straight scars are on both sides of the bridge of his nose just under his eyes: these scars are vertical and are two inches long.  Village: Kirigakure Character Rank: D Clan: Uchiha Element: Katon  Personality: Rei is a quiet, calm and collected individual. His is intelligent but often despondent and uncaring for most of everything. While he holds a pride for his village, he cares very little to the actual cause of conflict- he only cares about the end of conflict and the methods to get there. He can be rather cold to his allies or his foes, neither are exceptions to him: to him, comrades are those he can entrust his life to and give that life if necessary. He isn't very trustful but keeps his opinions to himself most of the time, he will observe and understand people and why they do things, always assuming they have hidden agendas or plans to hurt him or those around him. There are two sides of his really, both of dependent in situations, but especially battle. One side of him is calm collected and shrewd, a careful and quick thinking who strategizes in combat with his allies to obtain the upper-hand and victory. The other side of him is seldom seen and somewhat the reverse. Typically this side of him is seen when he is alone and in a serious fight with opponent(s) While still intelligent, shrewd and carefully planning- his demeanor changes into that of a madman. He shows little apparent concern for his well-being so long as he can destroy him targets or complete his mission. It has been said that he borderlines schizophrenia and psychotic tendencies. Character History: - Birth:
Rei is a child of an Uchiha couple who birthed two children. Rei is the youngest child, his sister Yin being the older sister. Rei's father, Yamamoto and his mother Yen were a pair caring and loving parents who were dedicated to their village to the very end. Yamamoto was a shinobi of great skill, always going on important and snsitive missions and returning to the family whenever time permitted him. Yen the mother, was a beautiful woman and passed that beauty onto her who children. Yamamoto and Yen had Yin the daughter as soon as they got married, when Yin turned five years old, Rei was conceived.
Yamamoto was away on an important mission when Yen went into labor, he was killed by an unknown enemy and his body was never recovered. Yen died during childbirth, barely being able to birth him and see his face before she bled to death. The two children Yen and Rei were taken in by their old single uncle who was asked to look after then in case anything happened to their parents.
- Academy:
Rei grew up being raised by his big sister Yin while his uncle had little to do with them. He provided them with a small house and gave them an allowance to live off of, but he never really talked to them. He was always close by to monitor and protect them, but he disliked his niece and nephew and had as little to do with them as possible. Yen had been his sister and personally blamed Rei for the death of Yen.
This weighed heavily on Rei's heart as he grew up, loved and cared for by his loving big sister. Rei felt the need to redeem himself to the village for the loss of his parents and decided to become a shinobi. His sister encouraged his dream but their uncle told him he could never be anything of worth. Despite the ridicule, Rei joined the Shinobi Academy. He had a natural talent with ninjutsu and learned the academy skills very quickly: his sensei labeled him a prodigy, but by then, he had already accepted a neutral and dispassionate attitude.
While attending the academy, his uncle disapproved greatly: his uncle went so far as to cut their allowance in half for living to try to force Rei to stop being a shinobi and get a job. Rei did get a job, doing od jobs here and there and working for a tool shop from a store owner who took pity on him and his big sister. Their uncle was not a ninja, but he was a strong and intimidating man: Rei stood up to him once and suffered a blow from a tool across his face, that is how he got the scars on his face. After that incident, his big sister had reported their uncle to the shinobi of the village and soon, their uncle simply disappeared. Unlike most Uchiha, their uncle wasn't born with the sharringan bloodline and cursed the majority of his family with his jealousy. He was seen as an outsider for his actions: attacking Rei, a promising youth of the Uchiha clan, sealed their uncle's fate. THe two children knew not what happened to their uncle, but some shinobi within the Uchiha clan had taken justice upon themselves and murdered the spiteful man.
- Genin:
After graduating the shinobi academy, Rei was given his rank of Genin, his headband and allowed to work directly for the village he cared for. It was finally time to follow his father's footsteps and become a great shinobi.
