Doragon was at it again, doing missions so he could one day become a B-rank shinobi. Some may have questioned why he was doing missions so frequently, but to him, it was a pretty simple reason. All he wanted was the best for Kumogakure, and if that meant things like helping out with a minor bandit infestation, or more deadlier missions, he would do it. Doragon would die for his village, as ninja were meant to do. In his eyes, he was the perfect solider.
As of the moment, he was currently on a B-rank mission. Bandit settlements seemed frequently these days, and if they all cooperated they could actually pose a threat to Kumogakure. That was why it was imperative that they all needed to be destroyed. This time, because of his high rank, he didn't need a partner. The people that assigned him the mission fully trusted him because of how well this mission went the last time. Currently at the gates of the village, he gave himself a quick check to make sure he was ready for the mission.
All ready to go..hn...I still need a sensei to learn from, but many people don't qualify for my standards. What a shame.
Leaving the village, he calculated that the journey would be about thirty minutes. His clothes were fit for this mission, which didn't require stealth at all and could easily be dealt with using force. Like usual, his headband was on his forehead, proudly showing the symbol of Kumogakure on it. His shorts were cargo, with a red collar shirt. Doragon's sandals were red with red socks.
So what will my plan of attack be..these bandits know jutsu, but nothing in the mission indicates that they might be high ranking. Perhaps, at best, the strongest may possess a single B-rank jutsu.
As he wandered down the quiet, dirt path, he began thinking about the tournament for Raikage that was supposed to be happening soon. It would only be available to high ranking shinobi, so he had to make sure that he became one before it started. If he led this village, it would become a super power unlike any other. Peace was an ideal most considered unrealistic, but Doragon believed that he would be able to achieve it.
By unifying all villages under a single banner, we'll have no reason to fight each other anymore. It sounds hard, but I can do it.
But, that was all in the distant future, so he returned his focus on the journey ahead. In his view, he could see the bandit's camp down below. From what he could see, exactly twelve bandits were just..relaxing, without a care in the world. That would be what would kill them, as it would make it at least a little harder for Doragon to invade if they were all on guard.
"Half of these bandits are armed, but the weapons don't look like they're made from any impressive material. I shouldn't be worried."
Doragon descended upon the bandits, as discreet as a shadow in the night. Stealth, although not required, would be the best option here as it would keep his chakra loss to a minimum, and lower the risk of any injuries. Two bandits were right in front of him, side by side and chatting on a tree stump, talking about frivolous things such as relationships with females. They were so busy, that they didn't notice as Doragon crept behind them, ending both of there lives with a single thrust to the heart, slicing vital arteries as well.
He was completely on guard, intent not to get hit by a surprise attack. Doragon looked around, scouting for any more bandits. They wouldn't even know what hit them. Three more bandits were in his field of vision, the trio doing some cooking. All of them were taken down swiftly and silently. One by one, the numbers of the bandits dwindled as they were all caught by surprise. A few minutes later, they were all dead, and no one even had a glimpse of the child who did it.
"That was easy enough..that foolish Chuunin decided to use brute force, while I used stealth. He wasted chakra for mo reason..talk about nonefficient!"
Done with his job, in addition to making the murders look as grisly as possible for the added fear factor, he left the bandit camp and headed back home. To a Chuunin, this mission was pretty easy to do. They were unfocused, unaware, and Doragon used that to his advantage. He didn't even get a chance to see what kind of jutsu they were using.
[i] Perhaps some jutsu training is in order..and it is about time I learn what my element was. Either one will greatly satisfy me, although personally, I'm hoping for Katon. [i]
It was the closest thing to excitement he had felt in a while. Finally, he could upgrade his combat skills to the next level, and therefore be more of a service to Kumogakure then he previously was.
