Just a few more missions to go and Doragon would have his rank up. It was a little bit exciting for him, because that meant he would be able to go on even higher ranked missions to serve his village well. B-rank missions, he heard, carried a decent amount of danger, but it shouldn't have been any trouble for someone that was a prodigy. In about a few months, the Genin calculated he would be a Jounin with his current rate of progress. Still, in order to achieve that goal he knew the council would be looking at his teamwork abilities, which was why Doragon was looking for a squad of any kind.
At the moment, the young Genin was on a C-rank mission given to him by the council. It was simple, much like any of the other C-ranks. All he had to do was was clear out the wolves that were a little bit too close to the village for the council's comfort, and he would be getting his reward. It was a bit peculiar that these wolves would want to be so close to humans, but perhaps they found a constant food source? Who knew? It wasn't exactly pertinent to the mission, so he dismissed these thoughts and returned his focus back to the present.
His current clothes were suitable for the mission. As he needed to go into a forest to find these wolves, his entire attire besides his headband, was green to give him a little bit of camouflage. To save time on dressing up, Doragon chose to use a green jumpsuit that went to his ankles, leaving him to wear his green sandals. Of course, he was wearing underwear but as no one would see it, he didn't bother matching with it, the boxers being a simple, solid black. In the multitude of greys that were in Kumo, of course, he looked a bit out of place.
Now out of the village after giving proof that he was on a mission, he traveled along a dirt path that would lead to the forest. It was early in the morning, so most of the animals that populated the forest were still asleep. Except, for the wolves of course. As he got closer and closer to the forest, he began to wonder what kind of traps would he use to kill these wolves. Taijutsu, in his mind, would most likely be enough. Although it would be overkill, he wasn't concerned about that to not use Ninjutsu. In his eyes, using Ninjutsu would just be a waste of chakra when he could kill them simply with his hands and feet.
After about a five minute walk, he arrived inside the forest. Now, it was time to set the trap by luring the wolves. For about twenty minutes, Doragon would go around the forest, punching and snapping small woodland creatures to death, like rabbits and deer. He'd used this trap many times, but it had never failed him in exterminating the wolves. If it worked, then he had no reason to fix it. A simple, yet efficient motto. Now finished with making the bait, he rested atop a sturdy tree branch, waiting for the wolves to smell the food. Just five minutes later, the sound of howls echoed through the air, and he knew he had them.
The pack of six circled around the food, munching at it without a care in the world. They must have felt at ease here, not noticing any threats. It was such a shame that they were about to be killed, but then again, in a world like this it was survival of the fittest. Doragon swooped upon them like a hawk after a mice, and one by one in quick succession, they all fell. Finished with the mission, he headed back to the village to turn it in.
