| Five Animal Style
When using the Five Animal Style, the martial artist may only make use of a single animal style at a time. They may use up to two different Transition techniques to switch their animal each post, and may only make use of attacks from the animal style that they are using at that time. Any bonuses from each animal are only present while attuned to that animal, and are gone the moment they transition into another. The animals styles make use of 5 different forms inspired by nature and legend. Each has their own distinct techniques, positions and mentality to provide a breadth of versatility to give them a tool for almost any situation. Practicing this style requires a great deal of focus, but is also very demanding on all of the physical stats. Mastering this style comes with benefits listed below.
A huge amount of training is required to learn this martial style, and before any progress can be made one first must learn how to center themselves, and better control the chakra in their body. This sort of inner training results in a sense of inner peace and stillness that empowers the spirit of the character. In order to learn this style, the jutsu below must be first learned via a training topic of 1500 words. It may not be purchased with experience points. They must also be taught by Itsuko.
Center Self Jutsu
- Spoiler:
Name: Center Self Rank: C-S Type: Taijutsu Element: N/A Range: Self Handseals: Horse Stance Special: This technique costs no chakra to preform. The user must remain stationary and fully focus on centering themselves to use this technique. No animal style is required. Description: By taking a moment to fully center themselves, the user of this technique sets their mind, body, and spirit to rest. Soothing any inner turmoil they are able again to see the world through calm eyes, and continue on with their battle.
Using this technique restores chakra to the user's chakra pool according to the chart below, after spending a full post in this meditative state. In spite of the descriptive text, this does nothing to prevent poisons, gentle first, or Genjutsu from having their full effect on the user. The amount of Chakra refreshed depends on the rank of the user.
C – 10 chakra restored B – 20 chakra restored A – 30 chakra restored S – 40 Chakra restored
Crane: +1 durability
Dragon: +2 durability, -1 speed
Leopard: +1 speed
Snake: +2 speed, -1 durability
Tiger: +1 strength
Transition Techniques:
- Spoiler:
Name: Transition Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Element: N/A Range: N/A Handseals: N/A Special: This jutsu costs no chakra Description: This technique transitions a user of Five Animal Style from one animal style to another. This may be used when the user is neither attacking nor defending, and only takes a very short moment.
Name: Crane Sweeping Feathers Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Element: N/A Range: Up to 30m Speed+1 Handseals: N/A Description: Transitional Jutsu. This technique immediately places the user in the Crane stance. As an evasive technique, the user pushes a strong burst of chakra into one leg, and uses the extra power to spring backwards with great power and speed. The user never leaves the ground, and the foot used to kick with often grazes the ground as they glide swiftly backwards. Both arms are lifted in the process of this jutsu, and the user is left standing on one leg with the other lifted in defense in front of them.
Like Body Flicker this jutsu may not be used to initiate an attack, and also must have a cool down of 1 post between uses.
Name: Dragon Climbs Mountain Rank: A Type: Taijutsu Element: N/A Range: N/A Handseals: N/A Special: This technique receives no reduction in chakra cost from Taijutsu mastery. Description: Transition Technique. This jutsu immediately attunes the user to Dragon Style. By assuming the stance of a dragon and pumping the skin, muscles, and bones full of chakra, the user is able to turn their bodies as hard as stone. This renders them all but impervious to most attacks, but also makes them as slow as the mountain. The user can not move while using this jutsu and must concentrate on maintaining the power of the dragon. They are still able to spend chakra, talk, and otherwise do as they please, so long as they don't move or attack.
This technique gives the user +1 durability when used which stacks atop the bonus from Dragon style, and also reduces the rank of incoming attacks by 1 rank.
Name: Savage Leopard Pounce Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Element: N/A Range: N/A Handseals: N/A Speed: +1(this bonus stacks atop the normal bonus given from Leopard Style) Description: Transition Technique. This technique immediately places the user in Leopard Style. Charging the legs with chakra, the user of this savage pounce springs forward with great speed. Chakra enhancement only provides a bonus of +1 to speed on top of the bonus granted from the Leopard Style, but can end a fight in one savage gouge of the throat if the target is caught off guard. This uses the users weight and strength to knock an opponent over, and then leap off of the target and out of reach in the same motion.
Name: Snake Strikes Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Element: N/A Range: N/A Handseals: N/A Description: Transition Technique. This technique immediately places the user in Snake Style. This sudden and fierce onslaught of attacks comes out of nowhere, the moment there is an opening in the target's defenses. The user Snake Steps forward 5 times, unleashing a fast fingertip strike at their opponent with each step forward. The five strikes are light but if aimed right can render an opponent blind, crippled, or stunned and gasping for breath. The flurry of attacks also tends to drive an opponent back as the user steps forward, though brave opponents may stand their ground if they wish.
Name: Twin Tiger Strike Rank: S Type: Taijutsu Element: N/A Range: 10m Handseals: N/A Speed: +2 Description: Transition Technique. This immediately places the user in Tiger Style. This attack requires an exorbitant amount of chakra, not allowing the user to receive a discount for their taijutsu mastery, but it can end a fight in one fell action. The entire body blazes with power as chakra is released in large amounts, allowing for unthinkable speed and power.
This used allows the user to immediately attack anyone within 10 meters, while leaving an after image of themselves behind when they move. This strike comes so fast that it pairs two strikes into one. The first attack happens from the opponents left flank, and strikes low on the side, below the ribs and above the hips. The second attack lands almost simultaneously, striking the right side of the head.
The afterimage fades after the strikes have landed, leaving the attacker standing to the right of the defender.

| Alrighty, each tech, however, has to be paid individually or you can rack up all of them together in 1 giant purchase. But if no one else has anything else to say, and changes/discussion in CB were made, Approved. | |
