Case 008: Physical Education.

Mission Details:

Kaitekina had never been to the academy before in her life… that’s until today. She had heard all sorts of stories about the place children gathered to learn the basics of being a shinobi as well as receive the lessons they would’ve been taught in a civilian school such as Math. Kai told her the academy was nice back when she attended it which wasn’t that long ago, but she had also been told that the way the academy operated had changed after the Bijuu attack. For one, there wasn’t anymore wasting four years perfecting several techniques one needed in order to graduate. The basics were taught during the first year and in order to get to the second year everyone had to have the techniques together. If they didn’t pass they would be stuck in the first year class until they could. It was possible to skip over to the second year, but that required the techniques being known.

For the second year the teachers focused on building a foundation for their students, a foundation that would come in handy for the next two years. Basic techniques were taught that came from Bukijutsu, Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu whilst a seal was taught here and there. It was nothing too advanced since second year was all about building the foundation. They got to learn advanced forms of techniques during the third year whilst being able to use a couple of them. Physical exams were also introduced during the second year and carried on for the next two. By time the fourth year rolled around students were expected to be in top physical shape for their age group and know all the academy students on top of the several others taught to them throughout the years.

Kaitekina found the system interesting to say the least and she sort of wished she could’ve taken part in it, but she was far too advanced to be stuck into any of the classes. So, she had to settle with getting a dose of what the academy students got through helping out the teachers and today she got to help the second year students with their physical education. Today they were working on their cardio which meant quite a few laps around the academy and grueling training regimes with few breaks in-between. She felt like the students were fortunate that this was their last class of the day since they were tired once everything was done.

It was ten minutes pass fifteen hundred when she had been dismissed and she headed straight for the administration building to tell Kai all about her day.
