Case 006: Swords.

Mission Details:

Kaitekina never knew how much time and energy it took to create the various weapons used by both the shinobi force and civilians as a whole until today. She had thought the blacksmith capable of creating as many weapons as they wished, going as far as to think them able to form a pretty strong sword with a snap of their finger. So, she was awfully confused when she had been handed the mission. A questionable look had crossed the nine-year-old’s face and there was no doubt a funny look on her face, but she travelled to the blacksmith’s shop without a word. From her understanding, the blacksmith that went by the name of Ernesto had fallen ill which was terrible since there was a lot of people expecting their orders today. Instead of telling them he was sick and needed more time like a normal person, he decided to request the help of a Shinobi so that the orders could be done and the product handed over to the customer today.

When she entered the shop, she noted that it was rather hot compared to the coolness that outside had been, but not uncomfortably so. She introduced herself to her client in her usage manner which was obnoxiously bubbly for even a child of her age. The man didn’t mind though, he had more important things on his mind and that was getting these orders done before the end of the day. Told that she would be assisting him in making several plain swords and several custom order swords, the man set her to work on the cool down process. That’s to say she was in charge of ensuring the man had cool water nearby as well as hanging the various weapons up to cool down further after its bath.

She didn’t get to actually make the swords themselves since Ernesto deemed her too small and too young which was funny since Kaitekina made poisons, but he did explain and allow her to witness the process. It was a little before sunset when the two finally finished. The customers came to retrieve their items and deliver the money they owed him. With the skies painted in all sorts of warm colours, Kaitekina would leave his shop and head to the administration building. It was dinner time.
