Seven Swords of the Mist

Name: Kubikiribōchō

Type: Limited Sword
Materials: An extremely rare type of metal found in Kirigakure, though the sword was made up of the only and last traces of this type of metal and is thus one of a kind. This metal is the basis of the sword's ability to use blood in order to regenerate itself.
Visual Description: The blade itself has two cut outs, a circle close to the top and a semi-circular one nearer the handle, that aptly fit the sword's purpose of decapitation. The latter notch allows a strap to be wrapped around the weapon, making it easier for the user to carry. Its extremely long handle is also detachable to further aid transportation and then reattached when required for combat.
Ability: The sword has the ability to reform itself using the iron harvested from the blood of its victims. This regenerative process takes place almost instantaneously and is capable of bringing the weapon back to its original condition no matter how severe the damage is, from a simple chip or nick to a complete separation of over half the blade. The sword also possesses high durability and is quite strong, able to withstand attacks from weapons of lower rank if they have no special ability enhancing their cutting power, as well as attacks of B rank and lower. The sword can also in return cut through weapons and barriers of lower ranks with little to no problems, unless said weapon is A ranked and has a special ability which enhances it's defensive abilities.

Name: Nuibari

Type: Needle Sword
Materials:
Visual Description: TheNuibari( 縫い針,Literally meaning:Sewing Needle) is one of the swords of the Seven  Swordsmen of the Mist. The blade itself assumes the form of a narrow "longsword" ( 長刀,chōtō) that greatly resembles a large needle, with a long length of thin wire-mirroring thread, tied through the eye located at the base of its hilt.
Ability: This sword is said to possess the ability to pierce all and stitch them together, demonstrated through its ability to effortlessly penetrate multiple targets in a single thrust and then quite literally stitched them together in substantial bundles, by simply pulling the attached wire taut. A capable user can even throw the sword with the intent of piercing a line of multiple enemies, before catching the needle at the other side and repeating the process at different angles, in order to create knots of corpses with the wire passing through the entirety, effectively creating bundles of bodies at various points along the length of the thread. The Nuibari can pierce through S-rank items that are not enhanced with chakra or certain defensive abilities.

Name: Kabutowari

Visual Description: TheKabutowari( 兜割,Literally meaning:Helmet Splitter) is one of the swords of the Seven Ninja  Swordsmen of the Mist. The sword itself consists of a giant axe and hammer, linked end-to-end by a flat thin leather-like rope, which together are referred to as a "bluntsword" ( 鈍刀,dontō) that is said to be able to break through any defense.
Ability: Although the length of cord means each weapon can be utilised individually, to cut and crush obstructions respectively, their true strength lies in their capability to be employed in conjunction with one another. When facing a particularly difficult or seemingly impenetrable defence; the wielder can first attack by striking with the axe, before slamming the hammer downwards onto its blunt backside, thus using the blade like a wedge to drive straight through the offending obstacle and into the desired target located behind. All S-rank items can be broken by the Kabutowari unless they're enhanced with chakra or certain defensive abilities.

Name: Shibuki

Materials: Metal, scroll and explosive tags.
Visual Description: Shibuki( 飛沫,Literally meaning:Splash) is one of the swordsof the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. The blade utilises various explosive tags, contained within a substantial scroll, in order to incorporate explosions into the user's own swordsmanship, earning it the title of "blastsword" ( 爆刀,bakutō). The sword itself features two distinct sides, with a narrow cutting edge located down the entirety of one length and a wide platform section on the other.
Ability: The aforementioned scroll unrolls along this latter side, sliding downwards and resting atop its surface to form an individual segment comprised from numerous explosive tags, which separates from the remainder upon detonation. Only once the desired opponent comes into contact with the platform, do the explosive tags finally ignite and then detach, providing a small opportunity for the user to escape the devastating blast radius, while simultaneously compensating for any resultant recoil. The sword is seemingly able to reload another segment of tags onto the platform, automatically after each strike. Ten exploding tags are released in each use, and cannot be released again until the next post. The ignition of the ten exploding tags can kill all who are trapped within its blast radius of five meters.

Name: Kiba

Materials: Lightning-conductive metal
Visual Description: Kiba( 牙,Literally meaning:Fangs) is one of the famous swordsof the Seven Swordsmen of the  Mist. It is a pair of swords, each with slim and straight double-edged blades. Both blades also have an upward-curved bladed prong near the tip of one side of blade and another one near the base of the blade's other side.
Ability: They each have been imbued with lightning, displaying enhanced cutting power in a manner similar to the high-frequency vibrations of lightning-based chakra flow. It is this capability that has resulted in these "thunderswords" ( 雷刀,raitō) being claimed as the sharpest swords in existence. They also boost the user's attack power to the highest limit, which allows them to perform Lightning Release techniques that they normally wouldn't be able to, being 1 rank higher than they're allowed to. IE. If the user had a 4 in Ninjutsu they could only perform A ranked Lightning Release Ninjutsu, but when wielding these swords or having them on your person, the user can then perform S ranked techniques. Lightning Release techniques also receive an added 10% chakra discount on top of the respective Skill's technique being used. This does not count for any techniques stated to not receive chakra discounts. If 2 S ranked Katon techniques were to be used throughout the topic, clouds will form above and imbue the swords with natural lightning, boosting the power of any Lightning Release technique up to A rank being used by the wielder of the swords by 1 rank. This does not count for any techniques stated to not receive chakra discounts. They can also be connected at the hilts to form a larger double-bladed sword. Even without lightning, they are very dangerous in battle, able to be used in combination with agile spinning movements, sweeping through the targets while the user also rotates.

Name: Hiramekarei

Visual Description: Hiramekarei( ヒラメカレイ) is one of the famous swords of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Hiramekarei features a wide, flat blade with two curved indentations near its base, creating a sort of cross-guard. Two handles are connected to one another by a short length of cord, earning it the title of "twinsword" ( 双刀,sōtō). The overall sword looks like a flounder fish in shape. With its bandages wrapped around Hiramekarei, it looks similar to Samehada. Hiramekarei is very heavy.
Ability: Hiramekarei is capable of storing chakra. With the command "Hiramekarei Unleashing" ( ヒラメカレイ 解放,Hiramekarei Kaihō,Viz:Hiramekarei Release), the stored chakra is emitted from the two holes at the tip of the blade. The chakra rapidly coats the sword and can be shaped into various weapons, such as a hammer or a long-sword. The more chakra that is stored in Hiramekarei, the larger the size of the manifested weapon. This discharge of chakra causes the bandages it is typically wrapped with to unravel.

• 10 Chakra: The weapon formed can reach sizes spreading in any direction up to 1 meter in length.
  
• 20 Chakra: The weapon formed can reach sizes spreading in any direction up to 2 meters.
  
• 30 Chakra: The weapon formed can reach sizes spreading in any direction up to 5 meters.
  
• 40 Chakra: The weapon formed can reach sizes spreading in any direction up to 7 meters.
  
• 50 Chakra: The weapon formed can reach sizes spreading in any direction up to 10 meters.
  
• 60 Chakra: The weapon formed can reach sizes spreading in any direction up to 15 meters.
  
• 70 Chakra: The weapon formed can reach sizes spreading in any direction up to 20 meters.
  
• 80 Chakra: The weapon formed can reach sizes spreading in any direction up to 25 meters.
  

The sword can store up to 500 Chakra, and can absorb 30 Chakra from the user every 2 posts. Depending on the size of the weapon created, the sword will use the appropriate amount of Chakra from itself which was already stored every 2 posts. If it does not have enough Chakra, the sword will decrease in size according to the highest amount of available Chakra it has left. IE. If Shinsui formed a sword the size of 25 meters in length, the sword will draw 80 Chakra from it's own reserves every posts made by himself. If the reserves are 79 Chakra, it will decrease in size to 20 meters and take 70 Chakra instead. At the end of each post the wielder of Hiramekarei must post the sword's Chakra reserves as well instead of just his/her own, in order to keep track. The wielder can choose not to give the sword chakra, however it may only receive up to 30 chakra every 2 posts.

If the user has less than 80 strength and/or 4 in Bukijutsu, the sword will be too heavy to even attempt to lift it from the ground. If the size of the formed weapon exceeds 15 meters, the user must use both hands in order to be able to wield the sword.

Name: Samehada

Materials: Shark Skin and scales.
Visual Description: Samehada( 鮫肌,Literally meaning:Shark Skin) is a large sentient sword, comparable in size to the Kubikiribōchō. It is described as "the most terrifying of all the Seven Swordsmen's blades" Though mostly wrapped in bandages, Samehada's construction is atypical in that its actual blade is comprised from a series of downward facing scales running along the entirety of its length until its hilt, at the base of which is a small skull. Samehada grows larger in proportion to the amount of chakra it absorbs, causing its scales to become so long that they ultimately resemble shark fins and its mouth, located at the tip of the blade, to become even more pronounced. Keeping Samehada wrapped in bandages apparently helps to inhibit this growth to a certain extent.
Ability: Samehada is unique for being a sentient weapon that gains nourishment from the chakra of others and as such, the blade is at its happiest when engorged with chakra that possesses both a distinctive and pleasant flavor. It apparently greatly enjoys the 8 Tails' chakra because it tastes like octopus. However, it has shown displeasure towards fire-natured chakra. As the blade is made up of scales, it inflicts injuries through shredding or shaving what it comes into contact with, rather than just cutting the object in question. This flaying effect is similar to a shark's skin, hence the sword's name. While it ordinarily remains rigid, Samehada's hilt is able to stretch and bend to great extent, allowing the weapon to be used like a flail. To supplement the blade's offensive capabilities, it is able to extend its scales to spikes. It is also able to protrude spikes from its handle. Samehada shares a symbiotic relationship with its wielder, similar to that of the kikaichū. Although it continually consumes 15 Chakra its owner with each passing post made by the wielder, its largest meals come from fights, wherein it absorbs the Chakra of the opposition instead. If the sword even briefly touches an opponent, it can absorb up to 20 Chakra per post. Such an ability allows Samehada to literally slice through an opponent's techniques up to A rank, though only up to B ranked Katon, in spite of whether the chakra has been transformed or not. This is particularly useful when fighting Jinchūriki, as Samehada can absorb 40 Chakra through brief physical contact with a Jinchuriki as well as remove their chakra cloaks. This is due to its great hunger for Chakra and the deliciously rich taste all nine Bijuu's chakra has. However, it seems to be unable to automatically absorb ambient chakra, as in all instances where it has absorbed chakra are when either the opponent had a visible aura around them or when direct physical contact had already been established. The more chakra it absorbs, the larger it can become. Due to its voracious appetite, Samehada is drawn to those with large chakra supplies, allowing it to be used as a quasi- sensor. It can sense unsuppressed Chakra supplies of 500+ anywhere within 500 meters of it.

Being capable of conscious thought, Samehada chooses its own user, an exclusive process that has often resulted in it being thought of as notoriously picky. If someone it disapproves of attempts to wield it, spikes protrude from the handle in order to force them to release their grasp, at which point Samehada will make efforts to return to its chosen owner. Because of this trait, the only way for anyone to be able to wield it is to have a large, tasty amount of chakra, being 500+. If the user of this blade was to ever fight the Jinchuriki if the 8 Tails, a special dice roll will be made to decide if the sword will betray the user and choose the Jinchuriki of the 8 Tails as its new owner. If a 5 or higher was rolled, the sword will betray the current user for the Jinchuriki of the 8 Tails and become unusable by that user and only usable by the Jinchuriki, as the normal reaction of the sword will be to release spikes alongside its handle to prevent the old user from using it. The sword will never, ever betray the Jinchuriki of the 8 Tails, and forever be the sword of that Jinchuriki until the death of the Jinchuriki or the Bijuu is somehow removed and the Jinchuriki somehow lives or is revived, only then will the sword find a new wielder.
