| Clan Name: Kazekuro Clan Location: Land of Winds Size: Small and scattered across the land of wind. Many live in small family enclaves as hermits and outsiders from normal society. It is extremely rare that a member of this clan is seen in public. 3 members max Clan Ability Description: Inpūton(Dark Wind Style[Yin release+Wind release]) Inpūton is a special element that is able to effect an opponent's mind as well as their body. Drawing upon the power of Yin the dark wind can cause the opponent to be afflicted by delusions, extreme fatigue, and other maladies. While most standard wind release techniques rely on pure power to overcome an opponent's body, A dark wind user instead will sap their opponent's physical and mental strength until their will is broken and they submit completely to the user. A side effect of many generations of combining the normally uncombinable yin release with elemental techniques has caused them to have a lavender skin tone, elongated ears, and blood red pupils. A side effect that furthers the stereotype of their mystic nature. One side note however, this element is not just a pure ninjutsu/genjutsu mix, but a combination of elemental and spiritual releases and thus not just limited to those two schools, but instead all the schools that utilize either. History: Before the formation of the ninja villages, The Kazekuro were believed to be evil mystics, to be avoided at all costs. At one point in time they controlled a large portion of the desert. mistrusting of all outsiders, the leader of the Kazekuro decided to eliminate any that came within their borders, While not large in number, their abilities prevented any from leaving their territory once entered, those invader's sapped of their strength and will, easily sucumbed and were consumed by the desert. As the Ninja clans began banding together and Sunakagure was formed under the Uzumaki clan, the ninja turned their attention to the Kazekuro, using their multiple skills the Suna ninja were able to bypass the Kazekuro's defenses and assassinated the head of the clan. Fearing annihilation, the remaining family heads pledged loyalty to the village and scattered to the corners of the land of wind. Every generation, the first born children of the remaining 3 family heads would be sent to Sumo to honor that vow and become ninja. In return, the remaining families would be allowed to remain in solitude. Bloodline Reputation: There are many stories about the horrors and mysteries of the desert wastelands of the land of winds. Among those stories are rumors of places in the desert that trap and ensnare those who enter. The few who ever managed to escape told tales of witches and sorcerers who could summon spirits of the dead and could turn day instantly into night. The saying "A dark wind blows" has become a synonymous with bad luck and ill fortune, while the saying "the black wind howls" infers immediate life threatening danger due to such stories. Clan Drawbacks: As the clan melds and merges different types of skills together, Users need the appropriate skills in ALL categories that effect the jutsu. In cases where skills are imbalanced, the weakest skill standard is used. Example, if the user has a 3 in ninjutsu but only a 2 in genjutsu, then any nin/gen Inpūton jutsu will be cast as if both his ninjutsu and genjutsu were at a skill of 2. In addition Clan members are limited to base elemental releases of wind and base non-elemental releases of Yin and Yang. No other base elements can be learned. Note: while normal genjutsu or medical ninjutsu doesn't require a user to purchase Yin release to use, Inpūton does require it to be purchased before Inpūton can be learned. Clan Jutsus: - Nin/Gen Techniques:
Name: Sasayaku kaze (Whispering Wind) Rank: E Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: Infinate Handseals: none Speed: 20mps Description: The user whispers words into the air which suddenly turns into a small gust of wind that seeks out it's intended target. Once it reaches the target the words are spoken to them, but only heard by the target. This can be used across vast distances to report back home, or to communicate information to a target in secret without being overheard. The user only needs to picture the target in his mind and the jutsu will locate them. As this jutsu is undetectable it cannot be followed to find it's target, nor does the user learn of the location of the target when used. This form of communication is one way, and does take time to reach it's target. the farther the distance traveled the longer it will take to reach them.
Name:Yūgure bijon(Twilight Vision) Rank: D Type: Gen Element: Inpūton Range: endless Handseals: dragon-ram, note: can be added to the end of other Inpūton jutsu handseals to add the effect. Speed: ---- Description: After preforming handseals, the user plants a genjutsu on the target using his hands, or by adding this onto another jutsu. This genjutsu is bound to the opponent's eyes and lies dormant until activated. Using a small crystal orb and filling it with Inpūton, the user can then activate the genjutsu and see what the target is seeing by looking into the orb. if detected, genjutsu kai can dispel this jutsu. Living shadows created by the user are automatically marked for use with this jutsu and can have their vision bound to the orb at will. The user can replay the visions within his orb but he cannot change them, or increase their visibility. This genjutsu can be returned to a dormant state and reactivated again at a later time as long as it hasn't been detected and dispelled.
Name: Shadoutorappu (Shadow Trap) Rank: C Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: 3m explosion, can be set in a 10m radius from user. Handseals: Snake-Dragon-Dog-Ox-Rat Speed: --- Description: after completing the handseals the user fires a volley of up to 5 small blasts from his hand, these blasts land in 5 seperate areas and soak into the environment. should an someone other then the user come within 1m of these hidden mines, they will explode out in a torrent of black energy. The initial burst does only knockback damage, however those hit will find that they will be unable to mold chakra or sustain any jutsu for 4 posting cycles. In addition any jutsu below rank A that was currently active on them will also be instantly dispelled. Should a person step on a 2nd mine while still under the effect of the first, the will instantly be knocked out for 4 posting cycles and then unable to mold chakra for an additional 4 posting cycles. These mines activate on the user's next post.
Name: Kuro sabaku mirāju (Black Desert Mirage) Rank: C Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: line of sight from user. Handseals: 3 second charge Speed: --- Description: Using this technique, the user channels his power to cause a dark wind to arise from an area, bending the light and manipulating it into a object or figure. This illusion is physical in nature, but intangible similar to a standard clone jutsu. This can be used in conjunction with twilight vision to create illusions over vast distances. These illusions could range from a person, to an object, to even a vast chasm; however, as these are just visual in nature, they cannot be interacted with, and any person will pass right through them.
Name: Kuro-fū no manto no jutsu(Cloak of the black breeze technique) Rank: C Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: one target within 5 feet of user. Handseals:Ram-Ox-Snake-Rat Speed: --- Description: The user gathers wind around him in a small vortex with him in the center. the wind swirls tightly around the target, bending and manipulating the light around the target rendering them nearly invisible. This physical illusion does not muffle the sound of the target, but does keep in the odor preventing tracking by scent. This technique is most effective when the target is motionless. While the light does bend around the target, movement makes the bending easier to notice and an outline silhouette can be detected.
Name: Dāku-fū ga fukimasu(a dark wind blows) Rank: C Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: 20m Handseals: none, 5 second charge up period. Speed: up to 20 mps, user's option to be slower. Description: the user fires a gust of purple wind from the palm of his hand, this wind travels forward and encircles it's target as it reaches them, soaking into their body and capturing them into the user's genjutsu. This genjutsu disrupts the signals that deal with balance within the opponent's inner ear, making them extremely off balance and disorientated.
Name: Kuro Sabaku no Kaze Jutsu [Black Desert Breeze Technique] Rank: B Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: 30m radius from user, can be focused in a direction at user's option. Handseals: Ram-Rat-Ox-Rabbit-Snake-Monkey Speed: 2 mps Description: Utilizing the principals of the Dark wind, The user emits a light breeze of wind from his body. Opponent's hit will feel only a light gust, a gentle breeze past their skin, almost no different then a normal breeze of wind. Due to the nature of this technique, it is extremely effective on unsuspecting opponents. However, once struck by the technique, the genjutsu portion of it takes hold and blocks the part of the opponent's brain that regulates body temperature. The opponent's will stop sweating, and their body will begin to overheat. without any way to cool the body, the opponent's body temperature will contentiously rise causing them to start to suffer from dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, rapid-heart rate, and difficulty breathing until they eventually pass out from heat stroke and if not treated...death. While effected by this genjutsu, all chakra costs for jutsu are doubled due to the increased stress and fatigue placed upon the body. In addition the more actions the opponent preforms, the faster the opponent's body will overheat, and the worse his condition will be This Genjutsu can be negated with kai, however, the opponent's physical condition will remain until their body is cooled off, and given proper time to recover, depending on the seriousness of their condition. This could range from dumping a bucked of water over their head and a minute to catch their breath to recover from some slight dizziness to a hospital visit and a day's rest for passing out from heat stroke. The power of this technique lies in it's subtlety, for usually by the time one notices what is happening, it's too late.
Name:Kuro-fū no tōboe(the black wind howls) Rank: A Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: 40m Handseals: 10 second charge time Speed: up to 60mps, Description: the user fires a massive gale of winds of hurricane strength from both of their palms, the sheer force of which can easily knock opponents off of their feet. When struck, the opponents are then bombarded with a genjutsu that shows them a realistic vision of death of themselves and nearby allies, complete with all of the pain and agony that goes along with it. The entire genjutsu happens outside of normal time, ending as the gale dies down.
Name: Kage no kyōki(Shadow Madness) Rank: A Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: 5 feet from target Handseals: Tiger, snake, rat, ram, monkey, ox, horse, hare, dragon, dog, boar, bird. Speed: Takes 30 seconds to perform. Description: The user completes the handseals and slams his hand upon the ground causing 12 black flaming runes to appear around the target, from the runes a string of seals begin to flow up and around the target, absorbing into them. Once the jutsu finishes the user is able to block out memories of the target and create new ones. This Genjutsu will activate at the wielders will. This genjutsu can remain implanted in an opponent indefinatly until dispelled. Once activated the target will slip into a dream and continue to interact with the world around him inside his head unaware that anything has happened, meanwhile his body's actions will be manipulated by the user, causing him to preform whatever mission was implanted into him at the time of the cast. The dream world that the target is in will mirror the target's current situation to suit the user's mission. example: in the dream he will be summoned to the kage, when in reality he will be charged with assassinating the kage. in the dream he will begin to get attacked from rogue nin's when in reality he is attacking allied ninja, etc.... When the initial ritual is preformed on the target, the target must remain in the circle for the ritual to be successful. This is designed to be used upon a bound, unconscious, or willing target and not in battle.
Name: Kaze no byōki jutsu (Malady of Winds technique) Rank: S Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: 30m area around user, remains in location after cast. Handseals: Ram-Rabbit-Ox-Snake-Dragon-horse Speed: 20mps, walls are 90mps Description: After forming the proper handseals, the user slams his hand down to the ground causing a burst of dark wind to erupt in all directions around him, after the winds reach 30 meters from the user they begin to spiral up and create a large tornado that remains centered upon the casting location creating a circular arena 60 meters in diameter, with the walls reacing up to the clouds. All of those inside the arena, friend and ally, are caught within a genjutsu that makes all inside appear to be the caster in every way. from, movement, to their voice, to even what they say. it is all manipulated by the user to fool them. This genjutsu is impossible to dispel while within the eye of the tornado as the winds will instantly reapply the genjutsu.
- Nin/Med Techniques:
Name: Kage o iyashi no jutsu (Healing shadows) Rank: C Type: Nin/Med Element: Inpūton Range: 20m Handseals: Boar-Horse-Dog-Dragon Speed: 10mps Description: Similar to the living shadow technique, the user creates a small golden living shadow. This small shadow then flies to an ally and attaches to them. Should that ally take damage, the healing shadow will infuse its chakra into the ally healing them before dissipating. The shadow only has enough chakra inside of it to restore small to minor wounds, however multiple shadows placed upon the same person will have a increased effect.
Name: Dokusei kyōfū no jutsu[Toxic Gale technique] Rank: C Type: Nin/Med Element: Inpūton Range: 30m radius Handseals: horse-rat-snake-ox Speed: 20mps Description: the user pulls out a small vial of poison and smashes it on the ground, then after preforming the handsigns channels his chakra into the poison. The Inpūton chakra then changes into the chemical composition of the poison before spreading out in all directions from the user. Those that breathe in the dark wind will become poisoned. while this technique has a radius, the user can willfully prevent the wind from blowing in some directions, such as behind him, or to his right, etc. but the wind will blow out in a directly out from him. He cant make it curve around particular targets but he can lower it's max range. The poisoning effect is identical to the poison used in the technique.
Name:Suzukaze no jutsu[refreshing breeze technique] Rank: C Type: Nin/Med Element: Inpūton Range: 30m radius Handseals: ox-snake-rat-horse Speed: 20mps Description: A technique identical to the Toxic Gale, with the exception that the user instead smashes a vial of antidote before channeling his chakra into it, allowing his Inpūton to transfer the antidote to those in it's range. The effectiveness of this technique is identical to the effectiveness of the antidote used.
Name: Sōkaina kaze no jutsu[Invigorating breeze technique] Rank: C Type: Nin/Med/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: 20m Handseals: Snake-dragon-ox-rat-horse Speed: 20mps Description: the user causes a wave of wind to erupt from the ground at a target. This wind will coat the target in a dark aura that will surround them for 4 posting cycles. the target will be inflicted with a genjutsu that will suppress their pain that they feel, while also activating adrenal glands within the target making them stronger and faster. targets effected by this gain 1 tier of speed and strength, but lose 1 tier of durability. However, even if they are easier to harm, due to the pain suppression they will be harder to take down. the user cannot be the target of this technique.
Name: Kansō zefā gijutsu[Arid Zephyr Technique] Rank: B Type: Nin/Med Element: Inpūton Range: upto 30m from user Handseals: Ox-Rabbit-Snake-Horse-Dragon Speed: 5mps Description: After preforming the handseals, the user begins to emit a darkened purple smoke-like cloud from his body that spreads out along the ground. As the mist passes along the ground, it begins to draw out and vaporize the water from anything it passes, instantly wilting plantlife, and drying up riverbeds causing the ground to crack and become like that of a desert wasteland within 2 posting cycles. should anyone other then the user be in the area during this time, they will have water drawn out and vaporized from their body, causing their skin to dry and crack after one post of remaining in the area, and making them completely dehydrated if they remain in the area after 2 posts.
- Living Shadow Techniques:
Name: Mainā sun kage no Jutsu(Minor Living Shadow Technique) Rank: D Type:Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: varies Handseals: Boar-Horse-Dog Speed: see description. Description: This technique uses the principals of the shadow clone technique along with Inpūton to create a living shadow construct. They gain substance with wind chakra and form with Yin chakra within the Inpūton . Utilizing Inpūton these constructs are very versatile in both form and power. The user has up to 25 stats that he can divide between strength, speed, and durability for these constructs that are decided at creation. These constructs cannot use jutsu, but are very light, and able to fly should their form allow it((I.E. if they have wings)). These minor shadows are frequently used as messengers, substitution targets, distractions, shields, or even guards and can be controlled directly by the user's will or indirectly through commands. These constructs require the same upkeep as other clone type jutsu.
Name: Chīsana ribingu kage no jutsu(Small Living Shadow Technique) Rank: C Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: varies Handseals: Boar-Horse-Dog-Ox Speed: see description. Description: Stronger version of the minor living shadow technique, they have 50 stats that can be divided between them. In addition, the user can make multiple living shadows now, however their stats will be divided among the shadows made.
Name: Iki kage no jutsu(Living Shadow Technique) Rank: B Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: varies Handseals: Boar-Horse-Dog-Ox-Snake Speed: see description Description: Stronger version of the small living shadow technique. This version can have up to 75 stats to be split among its attributes. In addition, the user is now able to mold living shadows onto his body, however these shadows can only be used to increase durability and act like armor, shattering after appropriate damage has been taken.
Name: Ōsumi n kage no jutsu( Large Living Shadow Technique) Rank: A Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: varies Handseals: Boar-Horse-Dog-Ox-Snake-Rabbit Speed: see description Description: Stronger version of the Living Shadow Technique. This version can have 100 stats split between its attributes. In addition, the user can now augment his body with shadows that increase his strength and speed, however those bonuses are halved when used for this purpose. example: user could put 30 into durability, 40 into strength and 30 into speed... but his stats would only be improved by 30 durability, 20 strength and 15 speed.
Name: Omona seikatsu no kage no jutsu(Major Living Shadow Technique) Rank: S Type: Nin/Gen Element: Inpūton Range: varies Handseals: Boar-Horse-Dog-Ox-Snake-Rabbit-Rat Speed: see description Description: Final version of the living shadow techniques. This version can have 150 stats split between its attributes. The user can meld his body in with these shadows, Becoming one with them and adding his stats to their total stat pool. In this form the shadows can use any jutsu the user knows and as the user is now one with the shadows, he can also reform his true self from any living shadow, however doing this will remove their stat bonus. Once the last living shadow is destroyed, the user will reform out of it.

| I realize this is a WIP, but I'd like to say I wanna grade this in the future because Im curious as to the logic of how Fuuton Ninjutsu can cause Genjutsu effects and what ways you'll be balancing them... | |

| okay, i still have some more ideas for jutsu, but this is fine for now. now to get to work on making them balanced, judge at your leisure and let me know what I need to adjust or add to them to make them work properly. | |

| Ryan, Ryu made me do this, so no disrespect, not trying to steal this neat clan from you. Drawbacks: I'd like it if you made it so Yin and Wind were all they could use as far as elements go.
Shadow Trap: I can't have you instantly dispelling a Jutsu that is A or S. Please change that. A C shall never defeat an A while I am modding.
Toxic Gale: Can you specify that the effect will be whatever the specific poison would be?
Refreshing Breeze: Same type of deal as above.
That's all I see that needs tinkered with.
