Mission Description: You have been called to meet with the council for temporary reassignment. One of the council member’s assistants is gravely ill and requires you to fill in as their recovery could be a long one. At least, this is what you were led to believe. Upon arrival you are sent into the council chambers alone with only them and the room is sealed. You are then told your assignment as temporary assistant is a cover as they suspect there is a spy leaking intelligence to another village. They have narrowed the spy down to one who works consistently with the council member you have been assigned to. Your mission is to devise a plan to expose the spy and capture or kill them. This is a delicate matter and is for your ears only; any word of this mission to anyone else will have you branded a traitor as it will cause unnecessary panic if word gets out.
Location: The village proper
Additional Information: The Council member you’re assigned to coordinates the missions that have shinobi leaving the confines of the village and into the surrounding area. The leak has led to several disappearances and deaths of shinobi that have left the village proper on missions. Due to the councilman’s need for external communication he has four male and three female shinobi who assist him any of which could be the spy. All are skilled individuals and will not be easy to catch or take down if they become aware of being suspected. There is only one spy among the seven; you can choose whoever it is as the culprit while writing your mission story.

Mission Name: [Redacted] Part 2a – Ending a Threat

Mission Description: The captured spy has divulged information to Intelligence that they were part of Iwagakure Special Operations who fled the village upon its destruction and set up on the outskirts of a small town half a day’s travel from the village towards the ruins of Iwagakure. There are five others currently who joined together in order to orchestrate the takeover of the village from the inside. Two have made Jounin level due to false letters of endorsement from the captured spy who forged the councilman’s signature, one is a chuunin medical-nin who would have been part of the medical team assigned to the upcoming Kage tournament, and two continue to operate out of their small village hideout in order to isolate and eliminate their Jounin competitors while they are on external missions. They do not know they have been betrayed, but it will not be long until they find out. Track down and eliminate these threats.
