| JUST TROUBLESOME | The more missions he preformed for the village to gain ryo, the more he found himself questioning them. The lower ranking ones to be specific. Kuroi was dressed in an attire he deemed suitable for his current assignment: a yellow tank top with white shorts, his typical red shoes on his feet and his headband tied onto his left arm. He was carrying a bucket filled with water in one hand and a sponge in the other. How else was he supposed to clean off the graffitified that's not even a real word buildings?
Yes, this is what led Kuroi to question the missions handed out to all the genin. It felt less like actual missions and more like... chores. He was positive there were people who had jobs to clean up messes, like graffiti, yet they were given to shinobi. Shinobi who could be training for an upcoming threat, perhaps actually doing something worthwhile, or even resting as resting was very important. In all honesty, he found everything to be very redundant.
But, it put ryo in his pocket, so he unfortunately couldn't do much to complain.
He eventually came across the few tainted buildings, noticing that the paint used was already somewhat... dried. Not completely, but it was going to get there if he didn't hurry. The boy sighed before slumping his shoulders, already feeling exhausted at the prospect of doing so much work... although the graffiti was only on three or four buildings. However, he shook his head, as if trying to rid himself of negative thoughts, and went on to do his work.
The time it took to scrub off the paint wasn't too long, but it wasn't easy either. A lot of effort was required and it wasn't effort Kuroi was willing to put in. However, after many hours of scrubbing, he managed to clean off the graffiti from all the buildings, on each side the graffiti was on. He could feel the sweat drip down the sides of his head, and on his back. It was a rather hot day, after all... But, he managed to finish his job, and was ready to turn in his progress.
Hopefully he'd be able to rest before doing another one. The rent for his house wasn't exactly cheap, in his opinion that is...
