Their campfire was burning within the woods of Otogakure, surrounded by stones which laid around inn order to prevent the fire from spreading and drawing attention to themselves. As the moon shined above the rogue's head, one would see it reflect off of the smoke reaching into the skies, about seventy five meters to the Senju's right, which was the distance he was from his campfire and Emi, his youthful daughter. With him was a Kage Bunshin, forged from his own potent chakra a short few moments ago. It knew its job for the moment, to safely implant the new sharingan he had gained from the ignorant Uchiha.
For the first few moments as they walked towards the lake, Ryujin has been looking forward to the new power he will gain, as this hunger for strength grew with each passing day after he left Konohagakure. Eventually the two would begin by the lakeside, about four, maybe five meters from the waters itself. He had placed his Gokage cloak on the ground where he'd lay upon it, before the clone would start the procedures. It took a while, though not much of a while to completely transplant both the third tomoe sharingan into the young Senju's body. The process was painful indeed as Ryujin laid awake during the entire procedure, his Mind's eye of the Kagura technique remaining active the entire time as he kept tabs on Emi and whichever chakras came anywhere close to Emi and himself. As he rose from the ground, taking his stance to remain balanced, some blood would start to flow from his face as the last tears given off by the wounds. The blood would stop soon after though once he noticed the warm liquid flowing down his face. It was with some manipulations done to his own chakra that he was able to heal his wounds so easily and so fast, the effects of Dienue no saisei gijutsu. His interest would be poked at as he wondered what his new strength would look like, now that his previous sharingan had been moved to the back of his head, in the center to be more precise, whilst his new sharingan had been placed into his forehead, one above each of his own original eyes, halfway between his eyes and hairline. There was no permanent nor fatal damage done to Ryujin as his clone possessed the same remarkable medical skills as himself.
A few steps would allow him a closer look at what was done as he reached the lake's water. Upon laying eyes on the new found power, Ryujin would drop to his knees. His eyes locked into the reflection of his new found power, his body still as if in shock.
"No.. Is this.. What I've become..." Ryujin would say as his hands dug into the muddy ground beneath him, his lowerbody beneath the water as the ground did not allow him to further go deeper into the water. The moon allowed for a perfect reflection of himself within the water as the full moon shined its light on his body and into the water. It was truly horrid to the Senju, to see what he had become. The one thing he despised mostly in this sick and twisted world was the Uchiha, but most of all the thing that drove them to what they are today.. The sharingan. Deep within him it was the reason for his hate towards the Uchiha clan members. Now.. He was the exact same.
"What makes me different from them?!" He yells into the skies, the emotions sinking in and growing worse as he screamed from the top of his lungs. Hatred filled his body, along with disgust and plain out sadness. It was indeed a tragic moment for him to realize what he has become, holding all of this power and yet he still seeks more, and most of all took the power of the sharingan for himself, which in essence made him what he hated most in this world. After his heartfelt scream, his hands would lift into the air and strike back at he water in order to ruin the reflection. The distortions within the water had blurred his own reflection, though it only lasted for a short while before the waters calmed, revealing something truly horrid to Ryujin.. His third tomoe sharingan were no longer mere sharingan. Instead his tomoe would start to move, the black forms reforming themselves to fit the soul reflection of what Ryujin is.

His eyes widened in shock of what he had done, though he was unaware of what exactly he could do with what he had gained, as he wasn't even sure what this stage of the sharingan was called. All he knew about was the 3 stages of tomoe, but nothing about a fourth stage. His eyes could catch all around him, every detail, every movement almost.
"Let's go." Ryujin would say to the clone before heading off back to Emi, his newly gained power being hidden behind the headband he wore. The Mangekyou having reverted back to the third tomoe as there was no use for it for now.
