Black Earth

Kneading chakra within their gullet the user will spray a stream of black sticky tar onto an opponent at relatively close ranges. The technique does little to harm the opponent by itself. It restricts movement based on coverage but could potentially irritate the eyes or cause suffocation if enough was gathered onto a targets's face. Once applied, it is difficult to remove. (-1 to speed if tar is on feet. -1 seal speed if on hands.)

Forming three hand seals the user will force his chakra into the earth and draw out a puddle of tar that coats the ground. This black tar is both flammable and sticky and will hold any enemy or ally foolish enough to walk across it. The deeper the puddle is the more difficulty one will have in escaping. It's size and depth is really only limited by the contours of available terrain and the amount of chakra the user wishes to expend. It can be camouflaged with the use of leaves, loose grass, or sticks thrown across the surface to disguise it. The hold of the tar can be easily broken through the use of Raiton chakra. Any other methods will require a decent expenditure of energy.(Immobilized if feet or submerged. -1 to speed if tar is on feet.)

Similar to mud based techniques the user concentrates their chakra into the ground while forming the 'boar,' 'ox,' and 'horse' signs. They then pull tar into a copy of themselves. Because of the density of this clone, it can take a couple of glancing or direct blows before being destroyed. Though the clone can do no damage with purely physical attacks. If an opponent strikes the clone with their body or a weapon it will become mired into the clone, causing much difficulty to escape. The clone can also wrap themselves around the opponent for maximum trapping ability. It has the ability use any doton techniques the user has within their arsenal, but can only use a few before dissipating back into a puddle on the ground. Along with being sticky, it is also highly flammable. (-1 to speed if tar is on feet. -1 seal speed if on hands. Immobilized if limb is submerged in clone.)
