The majority of Kirigakure citizens that had been in Iron Country had all but dispersed toward the Mist. Accompanying them was a plethora of shinobi to ensure escort would not go awry. For most of the people the return was long awaited, many not truly not wanting to leave in the first place. However, it was deemed necessary by the 2nd Mizukage in hopes to better police the village. A decision that Gambaldi did not agree with in the slightest. Had the 2nd not been a child, the tall shinobi would have chalked up the decision as incompetence rather than inexperience. The effort was noted at least.
As the last of the villagers left, Gambaldi made his way to the village entrance and was surprised to see the Iron Daimyo waiting for him. Over the past few days Gambaldi had spent much time at the Daimyo's own teacher's dojo. Naturally, a slight sense of brotherhood had been born amongst the Mizukage and dojo's students. The Daimyo was a man of similar build as Gambaldi, though the Mizukage stood a foot taller still in comparison. "Lord Raionhato, were finally getting rid of you. I assume you have enjoyed your visit," he asked with a grin. "Of course, I will have to return for a vacation. Perhaps you would even come to Kirigakure," Gambaldi replied. "Perhaps. Safe travels to you. I will have a few of my samurai assist with your escort out of our territory," the Daimyo nodded as he walked past Gambaldi.
Gambaldi didn't bother with a reply since he knew what the statement meant. A very subtle threat, but one Gambaldi was more than familiar with. This escort was likely just to make sure the Mizukage and his people stay in line. The Mizukage could only smile, "I'd have done the same thing."
"Time to head home."
