Rebuilding the Docks [Solo Mission]

Mission Completed:

So much destruction plagued the fisherman of Kirigakure after a brutal storm struck the Land of Water. Thunder rumbled through the air as lightning crackled down from the sky. Heavy raindrops and hail fell down and demolished many wooden objects. The docks were now completely destroyed and the fishing boats had sunk underneath the water. The aftermath was left up to the average citizens to clean up. It was a shame that the only shinobi willing to help the villagers was the white haired medic who had been busy caring for patients during the storm.

Spending the day with the workers of Kirigakure, Soran humbled himself by aiding in rebuilding the docks. Through this act of kindness, the mist ninja discovered something about himself. The warrior had a natural affinity for the element of water. While rebuilding the docks, he noticed that his chakra was able to somehow communicate and bond with the liquid substance. It was only natural after spending so much time on an island surrounded by cool water and mist.

Using his strength and speed, the docks were rebuilt within the following day after the storm struck. To show their gratitude, the fishermen of the village offered the shinobi free fish whenever he went by the market. Although it wasn’t the shinobi’s favorite meal, it was certainly nice to have some gratitude. The medic even received payment for his actions, even though he had not demanded any.

Excited about learning his new skill, the mist ninja would spend the rest of the day in the Kirigakure library. Luckily, this landmark had not been demolished by the storm. Soran studied two basic D-Rank water Ninjutsu that would be easy for any Genin to understand. After practicing the hand seals, he was ready to try it out for himself…
