| Name: Death Sand Rank: - Type: Jutsu Medium Materials: Chakra Blade Metal Sand Visual Description: It is similar to Iron Sand detailed here in that it is a metal sand that spreads 25 meters in diameter and up to one's ankles. The difference is, rather than being Iron Sand, it is a different metal capable of allowing chakra to flow through it. The Death Sand is a medium for the Jiton element and can be used to utilize any techniques specific to said element. The metal has no name, but it is the metal used for Asuma Sarutobi's chakra blades in the manga. Ability: Minor Ability: The Death Sand can be infused with elemental chakra. Because it is already manipulated with magnetic and ambient chakra and as such is always in contact with said things, the user does not need to be touching it to infuse chakra. The user MUST possess the element they are attempting to infuse. Different elemental abilities: - Spoiler:
- Wind chakra is used in order to increase the sharpness of bladed weapons, so much so that in the hands of an experienced user even small blades are capable of piercing substantial rocks easily. It is also used to increase the raw speed of an infused object (50 points higher) though its movement must be linear.
- Lightning chakra, as applied to weapons, provides an increased cutting power similar to that of wind, with the addition of inducing numbness.
- Earth chakra increases the defensive power of an object to its utmost limits, by further reinforcing the inherent properties of the material involved. (Plus 30 Durability, plus 30 Strength, minus 30 Speed)
- Fire chakra engulfs the desired weapon in intense localized flames, which follow the subsequent path of the object in question, incinerating anything which comes into direct contact. (By spending D-S amount of chakra, the user can generate flames equal in intensity to what would be produced by the same rank of Fire Ninjutsu.)

| So rather than Iron it's just Metal
But the main question is what metal? Just random bits you find in the ground? Some metals can't mold or melt into each other so what are we talking about here? | |

| Well it's a Canon metal. The metal used in Asuma's Chakra Blades... It's never given a name so I didn't know how to refer to it. | |
