| Clan Name: Takoyaiba Clan Location: Kumogakure Size: 32 Clan Ability Description: By manipulating Water and Lightning elemental charka, the clan members create thunderclouds capable of creating water and lightning for manipulation further. The clouds often feed on chakra and moisture in the air, stripping it of both to increase in size, decreasing the potency of water elemental chakra whilst increasing lightning elemental chakra potency. By incorporating both wind chakra and shape manipulation, the Storm element can be pushed further into its advanced forms - Tempest and Hurricane. A hidden manipulation of this is known only to a select few of the elder clan members. Water + Lightning = Storm (And then Tempest + Hurricane after further training) History: The Takoyaiba, formerly known as the Yotsuki in Kumogakure and the Kurage in Kirigakure, have since joined together as the Takoyaiba. They believe they are descended directly from divine authority, as ancient texts state the Fishing God, Hiruko was cast into the sea by his mother, and washed up on shore. The god Hiruko became the deity of the seas, because he encompassed all forms of strange marine life (jellyfish and octopus in particular). The Takoyaiba's heritage may not be just a myth-- it could very well be real. The Takoyaiba specialize in swords, using whirling, spinning moves to attack enemies and keep them on their feet. Genin are taught to master their water and lightning affinities to generate Storm Release at an early age, in order for them to become comfortable with using it while handling swords. The Takoyaiba mix their sword techniques into their Storm Release, creating beautiful formations with chakra-generated clouds. The Takoyaiba are also in charge of maintaining the Lightning Countries in terms of having an established political/noble standing in the village hidden in the clouds. The Takoyaiba clan hail from Kumogakure, and are noted for their prowess in swords and storm release techniques. They have historically been employed as guards for the government, and are frequently involved with the established military. The clan has since become a vast clan of strength, with various shinobi proving to become remarkable ninja. It should be noted that the branch of Takoyaiba in the Land of water have since died out, leaving only the lightning branch remaining. Bloodline Reputation: The Takoyaiba act as a democratic force that can be viewed similarly to Lords in the higher parts of the clan. Name: Storm Release: Storm Front Rank: B-rank Range: 0-25m Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Supplementary / Offensive Handsigns: Ox Speed: 20 Description: A basic Storm Release Jutsu, using the clans affinity for moisture. By forming the Ox seal, the user will focus their chakra, and release a billowing plume of black clouds from their sleeves, laced with flickering blue lightning. Like a wall of smoke, the thunderclouds will rush out across the battlefield, devouring the moisture in the air to grow in volume. With the moisture stripped from the area, the clouds will begin to feed on rising air currents, and become increasingly violent, releasing more electricity, inducing brilliant bursts of light and thunder. Name: Storm Release: Thunder Cloud Inner Wave Rank: B Range: 0-15 Type: Offensive Handsigns: Ox -> Boar -> Horse Speed: Cloud: 20, Lightning: 40 Description: Upon forming the needed handseals above, the user will summon a twisting mass of black electrified clouds around themselves. Use of the Ox Seal will generate a powerful blast of blue lightning from the depths of the thundercloud, latching onto physical targets nearby and releasing a powerful current through them. The technique can be avoided by creating a metallic ground between the target and the user, acting as a lightning rod. Wind techniques will naturally dissipate the thundercloud.
Name: Storm Release: Laser Circus Rank: B Range: 0-25 Type: Offensive Handsigns: Ox -> Bird -> Rat -> Tiger (Alternatively just Dragon if the jutsu is retrained) Speed: 40 Description: The clan member will form the required handseals and generate Lightning Release in one hand and Water in the other, fusing them into a brilliant ball of Storm Release. Upon forming the Tiger Seal the sphere will reach critical mass and explode, releasing a torrent of arcing streams of energy through the air that can be guided individually, barraging the enemy with flashes of intense heat and light. Drawback: Like other Storm Release techniques, a metallic lightning rod will be able to deter the technique, however in the case of this jutsu multiple rods will be required to redirect it. A powerful wind release will also disperse the energy staves.
Name: Storm Release: Stream Circus Rank: B Range: 0-25 Type: Offensive Handsigns: Ox -> Bird -> Rat -> Ram Speed: 45 Description: This is a version of the Laser Circus jutsu in which the Suiton element dominates the Raiton. In the Laser Circus jutsu, when the Ranton sphere is created by the user, bolts of lightning are blasted from it toward the target. The Stream Circus jutsu, however, launches thick, cylindrical streams of water at extremely high pressure, but these streams are laced with electricity, too. It operates the same way the Laser Circus jutsu works with very few differences, one of which being the abundance of water involved. Drawbacks: The streams of water cannot be guided toward the target like the arcs of the Laser Circus jutsu. This means one must simply aim with precision and hope the target can't dodge it.
Name: Low Storm Rank: S Range: 35 Type: Offensive Handsigns: Ox -> Boar -> Bird -> Ram -> Snake -> Tiger -> Dragon -> Ox Speed: Description: The user performs eight hand signs, and suddenly, all around him or her within a 35 meter radius forms a storm cloud. It starts as mere pockets of dense moisture until the pockets all combine with contrasting air currents and an excess of moisture. The storm cloud is very low to the ground, leaving only three feet of space between it and the user's feet. The cloud is approximately one story high. Within the cloud is an immense amount of moisture and electricity. Consequently, all metal objects are highly electrified. When tossing shuriken, the speed at which the metal travels in combination with the dense moisture and the shuriken's rapid rotation cause it to accumulate electricity quickly and generate a small electrical perimeter of D rank equivalent Raiton.
Additionally, all the lightning spurs any Raiton or Katon jutsu that is exposed to the air in the cloud. Therefore, Raiton, Katon, and some nature-less jutsu will be. For example, the Chidori would be exponentially more powerful, and Shikamaru's shadow techniques would reach much farther. This only affects visible chakra, though, so the Shadow Clone jutsu would remain unaffected since it doesn't expose the used chakra to the air when implemented. Moreover, the user gets one advantage that others in the cloud do not. The user has limited control over the cloud's lightning. (Raiton and Katon receive a 1 rank boost in power due to the primordial conditions whereas Suiton receives a 1 rank decrease in power. The range on shadow manipulation increases all jutsu by 20 meters.) This cloud's lightning can we used as a starting point for the user's jutsu. For example, this cloud gives the ability to use "Thunder Cloud Inner Wave" at a diminished cost of -1 rank due to the cloud and initial cloud being provided already.
Drawbacks: Must be at least Jounin to learn this unless you are taught by another player. The most obvious drawback here is that the majority of the advantages given by the cloud are given to everyone, not just the user. Beyond that, the jutsu only lasts for as many turns as is sustainable by the user's chakra supply. The upkeep cost and initial cost is 40UC per user's post. Also, the storm cloud itself is subject to air currents, so aside from the obvious fact that any Wind Release could simply dissipate it, a windy area will cause the cloud to move quickly. Even in an area with fair weather, the cloud will not sit still; it is forever on the move (forever, as in, for as long as the user can sustain it in the first place). The cloud must be slowly drifting at all times. No one can see in from outside the cloud, and neither can anyone inside see out. In fact, visibility within the cloud suffers greatly being reduced to close range (5-8 meters). All are subject to this. This means that using this jutsu against a Hyuuga would actually give the user a disadvantage.
Name: Violent Storm Fog Rank: B Range: 15 Type: Offensive Handsigns: Snake -> Monkey -> Ram -> Dog -> Horse -> Ox Description: As storm techniques go, this is actually an odd one. The user forms the necessary hand signs and emits a highly electrified storm cloud from his/her mouth. The cloud rushes out at a fast pace and spreads to cover all the space in a fifteen square meter area. Opponents who touch the cloud get electrified with an extremely dangerous amount of electricity. Simultaneously, the cloud saturates the targets so that the electricity will last even longer and continue to shock them. The cloud, then, lingers; in total, the cloud is present for four turns. The cloud itself, however, is quite dense, limiting visibility to about 5 meters. Being saturated and zapped by this technique causes paralysis for one turn unless the afflicted person has a Durability stat of 45. Moreover, the cloud eats away at the moisture in the air just like other Storm Release techniques. Consequently, electricity and fire become more potent in the dry air.
Drawbacks: Firstly, the severity of this technique could easily come back to harm the user since the cloud will zap anyone it touches, especially if the opponent uses Fuuton because the cloud can simply be blown right back at the user at a relatively quick pace. Secondly, the violent electrical arcs that lace this cloud are only present during the turn of emission, which is the first turn. For all subsequent turns, the cloud itself is a normal storm cloud whose sole purpose is to block vision.
Name: Circus Platform Rank: B Range: 2-8 Type: Supplementary Handsigns: Ox -> Rat Description: Description: After forming the two hand signs, a small, black cloud appears before the user; the cloud can be anywhere from two to eight meters in each dimension (height, length, volume). Inside this cloud is actually a thin yet strong sheet of navy blue chakra. The sheet is solid and can support a weight of three hundred pounds (300 lbs.). The user can stand or sit atop this cloud; moreover, the user can cause it to ascend or descend at will, and the cloud can move forward, backward, or strafe from side to side. As long as the cloud stays still, though, the user needs only exert a C-rank UC per turn to maintain it, but if it moves in the post, a B-rank amount of chakra is necessary.
The cloud also has attack capabilities. For an extra B-rank amount of chakra, the cloud can fire a small, thin bolt of lightning at a given target with only the Ox sign to initiate. The bolt of lightning reaches twelve meters at the most, and it can best be explained as a weaker, thinner version of False Darkness.
Drawbacks: This cloud can easily be dissipated entirely with Fuuton of any rank. Also, this is not an evasive maneuver as indicated by its slow movement. The cloud's agility is rather slow, and it must sit still to release its bolt of lightning.
Name: Arashigan: Eye of the Storm Rank: C Range: N/A Type: Dojutsu, Ninjutsu Handsigns: Ram -> Ox -> Monkey Description: This technique is pretty straightforward. After forming the hand signs, the user's eyes are given 'storm vision', which is basically just the ability to see perfectly and clearly while inside the many types of clouds that these clansmen create. The Storm Front technique is a basic jutsu for Takoyaiba (C-rank), yet entering the cloud can affect vision. The Low Storm technique drastically diminishes vision. These problems are solved for clansmen when using this technique. When the Eye of the Storm technique is active, the user's vision within a cloud is perfectly normal. This applies to more than just storm clouds, too, but it works best with storm clouds. It can be used inside clouds of sand, dust, mist, etc to see inside with diminished visibility.
Drawbacks: For shrouds other than storm clouds, this technique is only half as effective (vision is very blurry). Also, this technique only lasts for two turns because that is as long as a C-rank amount of chakra can sustain such an effect on the eyes. Too much more chakra would actually cause damage to the eyes to some extent, so this technique basically has built-in safety measures to prevent that (i.e. only using a C-rank amount of chakra). Any and all clones created while this technique is in use will NOT have this effect on their eyes automatically. If the user wants to use this technique and have a clone using it, too, then the clone must perform the technique as well, consuming an additional C-rank amount of chakra. Furthermore, the Eye of the Storm is a technique that inflicts blindness if used outside of any particularly imparing shroud. This is because the effect placed on one's vision is so strong that it is meant to be diminished by shroud in order for the eyes to even see. The only good that comes of this is that the user is technically blind whether inside or outside of the shroud, so his/her eyes aren't actually seeing anything directly, which renders dojutsu that require eye contact useless. The target cannot actually establish real eye contact with the user even inside a cloud where the user CAN see because the jutsu acts as a light-amplification buffer of sorts that incidentally intercepts all that is seen before relaying it through the actual eyes. The same goes for anything else that is harmful to the eyes. Whilst the eyes are protected from sand in return for dimished sight whilst the technique is active, the obscuring factor of sand or mist is still mostly in effect, rendering the technique at a diminished efficiency when facing obscurances other than the storm cloud.
Name: Tempest Ball Rank: C Range: Range of Supercell Type: Ninjutsu Handsigns: Dog -> Tiger -> Ox -> Ram Description: Once the user is within the Supercell technique, they perform the handsigns for this jutsu. Droplets of water fly towards the user and make a small ball of water with a 20 cm diameter in front of the user. This ball is then laced with electricity from the user. The user grabs the ball and throws it like they would a baseball. The ball, while not producing much power behind the attack, does bounce off of all solid surfaces, water and clouds, meaning it will bounce off of the Supercell walls should it miss the opponent. The user cannot be struck by their own attack, it will simply bounce off of them as it would the other surfaces, the user can redirect the ball by striking it and sending it in a different direction. Drawbacks: allies can be struck by the ball all the same. Doton surprisingly is quite effective against this technique, Doton walls will cause the ball to bounce as if it were a normal wall, and if the wall is angled, can change the course of the ball. D ranked upkeep cost from the first post after creation.

Name: Tempest Release: Supercell Rank: S Range: 0-40 Radius Type: Supplementary/Defensive Ninjutsu Handsigns: Ox -> Rabbit -> Dog Description: By forming the Ox, Rabbit and Dog seals simultaneously; the user creates a small cloud above their head. This cloud is similar to the Storm front technique and is actually the upgrade. The cloud starts to increase in size, quickly stripping the moisture from the air. In just two posts of the user's posts, the cloud will have eaten the moisture from the air, decreasing efficiency of Water release techniques, causing them to drop in power and rise in chakra cost (to return to normal efficiency) by one rank each. Lightning release, Storm and Fire release techniques will raise in strength by 1 rank]. Once the moisture has been stripped, the cloud would be at a maximum size of 50 meters in diameter. Unlike the previous technique that rises, this technique forms a dome around the user. This dome moves to keep the caster in its centre. inside the dome, everything is darker, with the only lighting, the flashes of lightning from the dome. Inside the dome, It allows for the power-ups and downs to increase in rank once more (capped at S (up) and D (down)) Drawbacks: This technique can be moved pretty easily by a wind release technique of C rank. The Wind release technique will destroy the dome and cause it to float into the sky like the storm front does, becoming just another large storm cloud in the sky. As a storm cloud, it moves with the wind like all normal clouds and WILL NOT strike any lightning what so ever, just make the occasional thunder. Even as a dome, it does not strike any lightning unless called upon for a technique. Also, every turn that the cloud is in its dome form costs C rank UC. Parent technique is Storm Front.
Name: Tempest Release: Thunder Gun Rank: B Range: 20 Type: Ninjutsu Handsigns: Tiger -> Dog -> Monkey -> Dragon -> Horse -> open palmed Dog Speed: Description: Once the user is surrounded with the Supercell jutsu. The user performs the handsigns. Upon performing the open palmed Dog (think of crossing your palms to make an X) they aim their palms towards the opponent's direction while holding the handsign. Small balls of water fly from the cloud surrounding the field and start to form a ball with a radius of 30 cm. Lightning then strikes the ball - charging it with energy. Using shape manipulation; the user makes the ball rotate and flatten out into a large disk that now spans to have a radius of 50 cm. (1 meter diameter) Storm release energy forms in the user's hands before the disk is blasted forward at an incredible speed (80 Speed), making the sound of a huge Thunderclap. The disk is like a huge pulse, even things just outside of its reach will be sent flying back, so to dodge, the opponent must put a bit of distance between the disk and themselves. The actual technique does little damage, the impact of being hit and then the impact of landing after the technique is what does the damage, small housing and other infrastructure will be blown away from close (1 meters or less) range. Drawbacks: The Thunderclap is near deafening, it is like having a rifle being fired from right next to you. The user is left temporarily disorientated (for the next post unless ear protection is used) and will have blurred sight and trouble hearing, this goes for anyone who is within a 1 meter radius of the user when it is fired. It a foe is hit, they will also feel the same effects. Requires Supercell to be in effect. 1 turn charge with open palmed Dog kept held. Chakra expended when jutsu is FIRED.
- Hurricane Release:
Name: Hurricane Release: Dancing Twister Rank: A Range: Length of arm + 10 cm Type: Ninjutsu Handsigns: Tiger -> Ox -> Ram -> Boar Description: After performing the required handsigns. The user places their chosen arm, or both arms if they will, out to the side. A crimson ball of water forms in their hands and starts to coat the arm, making a type of spear shape around the arm up to the elbow, it then extends another 10 centimetres on either side. This water then vibrates at a constant speed and stays sharp and strong, Crimson Lightning then coats the arm-spear briefly before a pitch black cloud rushes up from where the ball started, and coats the spear. Finishing it. This spear rotates quickly, causing the spear to enlarge slightly and look like a moving twister. Upon striking, the opponent would feel as if they were stabbed by a rotating spear, the spear can pierce skin and bone with relative ease, the lightning also causes numbing. After 8 turns the opponent's body will be completely numb for the next 2 posts. This technique can snap normal blades, without greatly hurting the user, but master crafted and higher quality weapons will not break, and can block this technique. Should the cutting edge of the master crafted or higher blade, the user will also be wounded, with a cut on the respective part of the arm/hand. Standard UC after 3 turns
Name: Hurricane Release: Hurricane Gale Rank: A Range: 30 Type: Ninjutsu Handsigns: Tiger -> Dog -> Monkey -> Dragon Description: The user creates the handsigns. Utilising the same principles of the Laser Circus technique; The user fires stronger, more powerful lasers. The bright blue light that forms with Laser circus forms before turning crimson. The light then increases in size before firing numerous beams of Storm release energy. These lasers are noticeably thicker and larger in size compared to the Laser circus. The pin-point accuracy has not changed, and there is no noticeable speed increase. Unlike before, with the previous technique, after striking, they veer off and prepare to strike up to twice more, allowing for long range combo attacking with up to 15 laser bolts. While combo-ing; the user must keep their hands in the Dragon seal position. Drawbacks: While combo-ing; the user must keep their hands in the Dragon seal position. Requires knowledge of the Laser Circus technique, up to 3 turns before jutsu dissipates. Laser Circus is the Parent Jutsu B rank Chakra is expended initially while another B rank is placed on top for the changing of Jutsus. An A rank UC is paid on the 3rd turn of its usage if it is sustained for said period of time.
Name: Hurricane Release: Emperor Dragon Grand Circus Rank: S - Kinjutsu Range: 60 Type: Ninjutsu - Kinjutsu Handsigns: Ram -> Hare -> Monkey -> Horse -> Rat -> Snake -> Tiger -> Ox -> Bird -> Boar -> Dog -> Dragon Description: The user perform each of the 12 standard handseals with this Jutsu. After the sequence of handseals has been performed: The user keeps the Dragon seal kept held. The bright blue light from the Laser Circus appears and expands in size before turning crimson. The crimson ball of light increases in size a bit more before blasting 3 large bolts of hurricane release energy. In the same way that Hurricane Gale and Laser Circus work, these 3 large beam move towards the opponent. In mid-flight, they turn into dragons, with a similar design to the Water Dragon and other dragon techniques. A Chinese style dragon is what the beams turn into. These 3 large beams have a diameter of 30 centimeters. These crimson dragons act like the beams from the Hurricane gale, combo-ing the opponent up to 7 times each. Each time it hits, it deals B rank damage per hit, with the exception of the first hit for each dragon, which deals A rank damage. These dragons are larger but can still make the accurate turns that the other beams can make. This devastating Jutsu tends to finish with a final strike from above, forcing the opponent into the ground with an explosion radius of similar force of the Jutsu: Kirin and thus requires Kirin to be known before hand. Drawbacks: 3 turns maximum per casting. 1 turn charge with dragon seal kept held. The dragon seal must be kept held while technique is in use. Needs both Hurricane Gale and Kirin to be known beforehand. Should the user have a Master Taijutsu Specialism or Ninjutsu Specialism Then they will be able to use the technique twice, otherwise, regardless of the amount someone should have, they are drained of their Chakra and is left fully depleted.
