A child's scream echoed the small market place of konoha on a stormy night. No one except the Shiruku household knew what was going on, and even then they didn't know who caused it. Hitomi of only age 10 years had witnessed a terrible event of seeing her father attacked and her mother as well. The few days that lead on after that incident was her mother at home trying to ignore the pain in her bored through hand and losing her husband. Hitomi was in the academy classroom with her head stuck in a medical textbook, books stacked around her as if like a barrier to keep everyone out. She was a tiny girl, a red haired child that looked and acted like a snobbish student to keep everyone away. When some of the other classmates were throwing kunai at her, she was there to dodge them and pluck them out of the tree, breaking their base so they'd be unusable and then throwing them away.
It was a cruel thing to do seeing as it wasn't her kunai to do so with, and she knew this but she cared less of pieces of weak metals, all she wanted was to keep everyone at bay. Of course when she couldn't take it she'd hide up in the trees to cry with the bird's songs filling the air to silence her sound out. She was a scared kid, a scared kid that didn't want to be known or seen only learn and see for herself. She eventually would climb down and dig herself back into the books, with each day looking more and more soulless. She wasn't eating, nor sleeping, just absorbing everything she could. Trying her young body to the very edge, even passing out in class but luckily since no one noticed, she got what she wanted. She didn't trust anyone and so now nobody trusted her. A small voice came out like a small bird peeping from it's eggshell. "I won't lose him, I won't let them get away with this...I promise my life on it."
