Sparing with students [Makoto/Darny/Hitomi only/ nk]

Mission:

Makoto had received word from the Hokage he had a squad. ‘Ahh, a squad.. a lot of responsibility, lets see who is on my team. I only seem to have 2.. Hitomi Shiruku.’ Makoto remembered her, most likely his favorite chunin. She was extremely sweet and always ready to learn and help out. Makoto was extremely glad to have her on his team. Makoto grinned wide as he saw her name. He proceeded to look at the next name. “Karou Uzumaki” The kid he took blood from. The kid was smart indeed but Makoto liked some smart people on his squad. As for the 3rd person on his team there was nobody. Makoto walked outside and summoned Hiroto and slipped 2 scrolls onto a pouch on his back to give to each of the students explaining and telling them to meet at the training arena. Makoto walked back inside to get ready, he would most likely be late depending on how fast the genin get there. Makoto would hop in the shower taking his time and get ready he wore a white t shirt with some tights and boots. He wore his chunin vest for the fun of it as he walked out. The walk to the training field was nice. Makoto upon arriving on the training field Makoto smiled.

Karou had just woken up from his slumber, he was still in his pyjamas, his vision was still drousy and his body still craved for sleep, but as a ninja, he couldn't let those bodily pleasures get the best out of him, he had to keep training and practising, so yeah, every moment was crucial to him as it could provide him with a slight edge over his opponent. He would stand up, rubbing his eyes, he would move drunkenly towards his bathroom, stripping naked just at the entrance, he would kick the door, which sent the door snapping bavkwards, his bedroom door was open, his mom could come out anytime, but he really didn't care, as a 10 year old, he wasn't that much into covering his private parts and all, he hadn't gotten more information about puberty and the likes, but that doesn't make him someone that would just strip naked anywhere, no, he wouldn't.
Karou would brush his teeth hard, scrapping the surface of his gums in the process, getting under the shower, he would wash away everything that was called dirt on his body, getting out of the bathroom, he would dress himself and cream himself, taking on a yellow shirt, brown pants and black sandals. Beside his thigh was a holster, his ninja pouch bag was hung to his lower middle back, his trench knives were put in their respective sheath and he stuffed his pouch with his ninja wire and kunais. He would get out of his house, greeting his parents and doing his chores, he would excuse himself out of the house and walk to the training ground, upon arriving there, he would spot a man with an owl standing in the forest ground.

She awoke that morning to her brother promptly sitting on her chest, which drove her to gasp for air. Hitomi was about to scold him however his excitement was somewhat confusing as he held out a scroll for her. She read it over for a moment and thought on it. "Makoto? A meet up...well I wouldn't mind it so long as it would help my training." She sighed as she finally got her brother off herself, he begged and pleaded to go however she called against it as she was getting ready by brushing her hair out. His gripe only caused some irritation as she mentioned he had to stay home to care for their mother and get the chores done. She finished getting ready as she put on her attire that looked similar to a kimono but made shorter and more able for missions and training, not only honoring her mother but keeping her light on her toes when moving.

She then headed out, and being she was still not used to using summons to get around she decided to just walk or rather run there on her own accord. Heck she needed this wake up call for a long time. However one thing she didn't know was what the meet up was to be. All she knew was it was suppose to be important. "Though it's kinda weird, we're just about the same age and he is much farther ahead, well then again I have family to deal with...still I wonder if I'm beginning to slack off." She pondered as she finally had made it there.

Makoto watched as the 2 students arrived at the training arena. Apparently he beat him there. Hitomi and Makoto were the same age so he classified her more as an friend than a student but he was still going to protect her and watch over her just as much as Karou. “Alright Hello guys. This is a very important mission. The first meeting of squad 8. Hitomi.. nice to see you again, as well Karou. My name is Makoto, last name isn’t important. You can call me whatever you please Makoto, Mak, Sensei.. whatever. “ Makoto rubbed the back of his head as he examined the 2. “Alright lets start with your goals as a ninja.. and uhh. Your strengths as well as weaknesses.” Makoto took a seat on the grass as he started first. “My goal, is to be a great general or leader for Konoha. Not Hokage. But something like the Hokage’s right hand. My strengths.. I fairly good in taijutsu and some people call me superb or amazing in ninjutsu. My weaknesses are tending to jump into situations that endanger my life. I summon owls, as you know Hitomi. So uhh.. yeah Karou what about you?”

Karou would walk towards the jonin, the man would introduce himself as his sensei and that he was part of a ninja squad called Team 8, of course, it would be the 8th team of Konohagakure, though teams were supposed to be in three man cells, but this was different however, it was just 2, does konoha have shortage in ninja? Probably not, but maybe the village hasn't been able to find a perfect match for them or anything. Listening to the man's words again, he would hear the jonin ask for his weakness and strength, in the same process revealing his and the name of his teammate. Karou was given a scroll by that owl, he had arrived moments after the owl had been summoned and he was the first to get the scroll, he had read it before his new teammate arrived, he knew what they would do, though the mission said it would be a 2 vs 1 fight, Karou would think that it would eventually be made more like a genin bell test, he had read a lot of books about ranks and shinobi'ism, it was custom practice that a new team was to be given a test, but since he wasn't genin, and his teammate too probably, they wouldn't need that.
Well, I'm quite knowledgable in all aspects of jutsu, but my strength lies in fuinjutsu and ninjutsu, well urrghh, about my goals, I have never really given it a thought, I spent my childhood days on the run, the only thing on my mind then was the food and safety, but uhm, I would like to become a strong shinobi in the future, a shinobi that can shape the lives of the people of konohagakure for the greater good.
My weakness well, I don't really know that, but the more I progress, the more my understanding will grow

Once noticing Makoto was there she promptly listened to his words for a moment before noticing her new team member was that kid who came into her training the other day, she had many questions about him and had very little trust towards him. However with Makoto she had alot more, being that she not only had known him but knew him as a generally good person to trust in. With that she was asked of her goals and facts which she knew immediately what to follow with, however she had one sentence to claim too first. "So would this make you my senpai or something?" She asked curiously before shrugging it off and carrying on.

"Anyways, I'm Hitomi Shiruku a chunnin med-nin. My strengths are aimed towards Ijutsu and Ninjutsu and my weaknesses tend to be Taijutsu and Bukijutsu. My goals are simple, to protect my family and any whom I believed to trust in and to become a well known medical ninja and use my expertise to help aid in or out of battle." She promptly added for the time in her own unique way. Usually she'd be far to concealed about herself, but being that she trusted in at least one of the two meant she was willing to cooperate. She then begun to ask towards Makoto. "So this is a spar, a team up in a sense to go against yourself I presume? Well then what would be the rules to this, if not for us then yourself."

Makoto would look as his students closely as they spoke. “The rules are simple, kill me before I kill you. No bells or anything of that sort.” Makoto would smirk at both his students, he didn’t plan on actually killing them but he did want to see their power to the extremes. Hitomi wasn’t that strong physically but mentally she was capable of sustaining Makoto for a short period of time. Karuo on the other hand looked to be a more physical presence. Makoto’s speed was too fast for both of them so he knew for sure he would win just off of speed. But he still wanted to test them, not physically but personality wise. If a teammate was at death’s front doors what would you do? That’s what Makoto wanted to know. Would someone have his own back? Makoto jumped back 20 meters and begin to get into his stance. His knees sank a little bit and he had an open palm with his right hand that he stuck near his abs. He then had another open palm that he stuck outward towards the 2 students. “On your go.”

Karou would hear his new squad master list the rules, kill?, of course, that shouldn't be true, Karou had been thought a lot of things in combat, he wouldn't like to dull this fight but he needed the necessary approach, he could remember that the jonin was a specialist in taijutsu, so it would be a little hard to get through his reflexes, but he still needed to test the abilities of the jonin, but he couldn't risk getting too close and getting hit by a powerful jutsu, killing was the rule, though he wouldn't do that, it would probably be a way to test their abilities, the jutsu suited for this scenario was the shadow clone jutsu, but he didn't really have that. However, Hitomi was there, he would look at her, and jump besides her, arming himself with his trench knives, Since you're quite familiar with him, do you know a little of his skills, and any thing we can use to have a quick win? he would ask Hitomi, getting ready for the worst

She nodded, understanding the principal and the rules to this as she noticed the others taking an offensive position. She herself took a defensive approach, since that's what she was better at. Hitomi then noticed Karou and took an assessment at his chatter. "He's fast, so don't count on quick wins to be the objective. Rather learn to survive, I'm sure you know that though." She mentioned getting ready for someone to attack. She wasn't sure when it would happen but she did know it was going to happen and she didn't want to risk the first move being her last. Of course in some way she knew killing wasn't the purpose here but at the same time it was a way to test one's abilities without the draw back of not wanting to hurt the other individual. She didn't care to trust the kid but she did know she needed him for this spar. So with that she whispered to him for the moment.

"My suggestion is this, you give off a false attack, and I'll come in to look like you and attack myself. He'll know it me from my positioning but you'll have time to release a huge attack while he deals with tossing me aside. Don't worry about me, I can defend myself more than I can attack..." She mentioned in a serious manner and with that she performed her own first jutsu with many handsigns flashed by. She then had a quick puff of smoke before looking exactly like Karou in just about every aspect.

Makoto would notice his students whispering to each other. If Makoto actually wanted to kill them he could’ve then but instead he reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette. He stuck it in his mouth as he took a see and began to talk out the side of his mouth. “If you were serious about winning you would’ve attacked by now. I could’ve been won this. Less talking more action.” Makoto pulled out his lighter and lit his cigarette. He smoked in a blew out as he watched, Hitomi’s hand seals were quick indeed but he knew her well. She used hair jutsu so this must’ve been an academy jutsu. Makoto looked at them both, they looked the exact same.. Transformation Jutsu. Makoto would laugh at them as he began to stand up. He rushed over to them as he formed the seals for transformation jutsu as well. As he arrived in between them, he formed his last seal. A big cloude formed as he also would look like Karou, this was an academy jutsu and Makoto mastered it. He said nothing, and there was almost no possible way for the either of them to tell the difference.

Karou would watch as Hitomi performed her handseals for the jutsu she just prepared, Karou understood everything she said, he wasn't that good with teamwork but he would try his best to work with her. Hai, I got it, I have a plan in mind anyways, just leave it to me. Karou would nod just afterwards he said those words, standing up whilst pattin her and resting his hands on her shoulders, he heard the words of the jonin and he put himself in an attacking stance, he knew what to do, he molded chakra, and was about to release it when the jonin performed the seals for the transformation jutsu, a big cloud formed and there were 3 Karou's, however, the fact that the jonin had transformed into Karou didn't perplex or infuriate him, he was still maintaining contact with hitomi and would still go according to their plan, even when the cloud formed, he would still have his hands on her shoulders if she let him, though she might be irritated with this, it was actually common when he observed his parents, his mother always did that with his father, he didn't see anything wrong in it.
With his hands on Hitomi's shoulder( if she allows it to stay), he would identify the real Hitomi, with that he would feel for 2 kunais in his ninja pouch bag, he would throw them at the jonin in front and at the same time release chains of chakra to burrow into the ground unsuspected, and at the same time, the kunais were fired, Karou threw them to the jonin's face, he knew he would react and would be really happy if Hitomi responded to this and used that as an opening for her attack though she was trying to get struck creating another opening for Karou

Karou would gather 7 chakra chains to instantly surround them underground, the chains moved silently, underneath the jonin with their numbers, once Hitomi was done with her calculated attack. He would make the 7 chakra chains from below sprout out violently, 2 would attack the jonin in an attempt to immobilise him, the others would just originate 7m away from the jonin, from all sides, extending towards the jonin.
Incase the jonin escaped however, instead of just focusing the chains to one point, Karou would make the chains move towards the jonin, extending outwards so as to make the chains passby the jonin if they could and come together, trapping the jonin

With his so called idea to come she noticed the other come by quickly however he seemed to have not noticed this and with that she was being attacked rather than their initial target. She gave shock to the kunai coming, this broke her concentration to the transformation technique and turned her back into herself as she was, however with quick reflex she used her handsigns once more and then blew out a gust of wind which slashed at whomever was in front of her, that probably being Makoto.

The side effect though would be that Karou would be knocked back from him but at least it would cut his concentration on the chains long enough for her to use her next second to use another academy technique. With this she used her shoe as a means to get away, by that it meant she replaced her body with it to evade the chains if possible. Granted she was limited on jutsu and objects needed for battle, but she hadn't expected a spar today. Rather she had expected training and thus she came very ill prepared, but that's what some battles are. Once safe, at least as she knew she yelled out. "Why are you hitting me?! I thought you said you had this!"

Makoto had to be quick as Karou threw kunai at Karou . Makoto was pretty sure the one with his hand on Makoto was the real Karou. As the kunai left his hands, Makoto grabbed a kunai from Karou’s pouch with extreme speed. Makoto swept under the Karou’s feet as he performed that clone seal with the kunai in his hand. The clone would appear behind Makoto good as new. Makoto after attempting to sweep Karou would roll backwards throwing the kunai around 8 feet high. The clone would jump over the real Makoto and grab the kunai just as Karou’s body would hit the ground as he would have his knees on his arms not allowing him to form any jutsu with hand seals and a kunai at his throat “Move and I will cut you.” . The real Makoto spots Hitomi around 20 meters away as he forms the seals Ram, Horse, Monkey, Hare, Boar, Dog, Dragon . The dragon chases her down, seeing that she isn’t fast enough to out beat it also eating up whatever she used to fight the kunai with. She will most likely get caught. Makoto then runs right behind the dragon at full speed upon attempting to paralyze Hitomi planning to pin her too. This all happening within a 1 second.

With the time sent to Karou being pinned she was about to go after the clone to possibly get him off, or do something to save the poor kid, but just as she did she noticed the electrically charged dragon coming up behind her. Hitomi was to run from it but it was far too fast and caught up before she could react in time. She fell to her knees in a slump then dropped to the ground being paralyzed and quivering from the electricity surrounding her, skidding from her running. It wasn't so much painful as it was terrifying to be trapped like this. She tried to move but her body didn't seem to respond which she took note of. She knew she wasn't to be killed, but at the same time she also had a small fear rising up that maybe she was.

Karou had thought he got the hang of it, that he totally would have gotten the jonin with that attack, but no he didn't, he instead had attacked the camouflaged hitomi in a moment of confusion, when he thought he was sure that the other Karou was the jonin. Hitomi's wind technique however would approach Karou, he had been pinned down but he could still control his chains, the gusts of wind were slow which made his chains sizzle and rise up, with that, the chains would stand erect and take the attack head on, negating any effect the technique had, Karou would hear Hitomi's words afterwards, but he couldn't give a reply, he had a kunai held at his throat, no way, he wouldnk't try to talk, he had been swept off his feet with the jonin's speed, even though he was fast, the jonin was more than fast for him to react. He fell and noticed a clone behind him, using his very own weapon to immobilise him, he swallowed spittle just as he saw the clone appear behind him, Such amazing speed he would say to himself, Hitomi was actually right, he was fast, and he had showed them the power of a jounin. Karou wasn't willing to die, his chains would fade away, he had lost, without him landing an attack on the jonin, he would have to prepare next time and keep his distance, this spar had thought him a lot, the power and skill of a taijutsu specialist and some other things. He would watch the jonin perform a set of handseals and create a lightning dragon, hopefully they wouldn't touch her, if she could evade them in a way and could free him, he would keep on fighting, but the way things were, that may not happen

Makoto walked over and picked up the paralyzed Hitomi and the clone grabbed Karou with the kunai still on his throat. As they met in the middle with the students. The clone poofed as he let Karou go. “Ehh… you will need improvement. BUT… that’s what I’m here for.” Makoto would laugh as he saw the looked at them. “Hitomi, the paralysis will wear off within the minute. As for you Karou you must pay attention with your attacks. You would’ve taken out your partner if she wasn’t so smart.” Makoto would throw them both rice cakes and some water. “Good work guys, I look forward to working hard to get you stronger than myself. This will be a rather long process but I hope you guys are up for it. Who knows maybe one of you will become Hokage. Now this is what I would like for you to both work on. Ninjutsu. Its one of the more offensive skills. Hitomi you need to get some medical ninjutsu seeing that you don’t have any. It will be beneficial when we take on high rank missions. Karou your chains are simply amazing seeing that you have your clan’s expertise. But use them carefully.”

Karou saw that the had poofed, thanks goodness, he had been getting impatient when his arm was stUck down there and a kunai was up his throat, but at least, his mobility had been gotten back, he didn't have anything to worry about, his arm was free and he wasn't scared of a particular clone anymore. Karou would pick up the kunai the clone left when he poofed, dipping it into his pouch bag, he would scramble for the 2 others he took at Hitomi too. “Ehh… you will need improvement.
BUT… that’s what I’m here for.” Makoto said, and hell yeah he was right, he needed more training, especially with his teammates, their lack of teamwork obviously divided them, Karou knew that he was the one who made them lose, they didn't have any chance of winning one-on-one before, and they were supposed to stay together to create combos, but they didn't. He would stand up, Yes you are right Makoto sensei, I guess we need to learn a lot and have a lot of training sessions, I sawq we meet here every saturday to create combos Karou said, the latter words would make him beam in smiles gradually, before turning to Hitomi, with the little that he had seen as a child, he knew that a girl shouldn't be left angry for too long,And Hitomi,uhm, I didn't mean to attack you, in my eyes and mind, I thought you were the camouflaged Mak.. Now facing Makoto, This match is over right? he would ask

She looked to Makoto still paralyzed for the moment and hearing his words on the topic just reassured what she knew. This at least calmed her and the paralyzation went away and she could slowly start reusing her limbs, she slowly rolled over and sat up looking at the rice cake and water. She then looked to Karou and sighed waiting until she could speak again and when she could, she did. "Combos aren't everything to this, it's a good idea to work together if that's what you meant. But here's a keen clue, I don't let people touch me if I can help it." She mentioned taking a sip of water and closing her eyes. "I personally think we need to know each other first that way it's easier to tell whom is who, personalities can be striking." Hitomi mentioned trying to fix her hair down from being frizzy. "But that's just my opinion, I'm not the teacher here." She spoke looking to Makoto.

Makoto would look at both his students as he spoke. “Both are you are correct, combos are indeed important yes, but personalities can also strike yes. Hmm” Makoto would rub his chin as he examined his students. “I think the best thing to do for the best of you is to learn each other and how one another cooperate. Hitomi may be good in range that means you have to play the front man Karou or Vise versa. “ Makoto would say as he continued to look at their opponents. “ Well I guess that was good for today. I ended it quickly for the simple reasoning of timing. You must be quicker with talking. More action less talking. In some cases that would’ve gotten you killed easily. You must be in sync with one another, although this is the first practice I expect you guys to be more of teammates next time we meet.” Makoto would say as he walked off. “I have an meeting to attend to.. Thanks for being late, Ill give you the word if we have an mission or training”

Karou would listen to the words of Makoto, they held sense, but not all of it was compatible with Karou, with Hitomi's display, she wasn't much of an efficient long ranger fighter, besides, a lot of thinking had to be done in fighting, whether it is a spar or a death match, attacking your opponent out of the blue without a proper plan or without the knowledge of his opponent wouldn't be a good thing to do, though jutsus like the Shadow Clone jutsu can be used efficiently by people with enough skill and chakra, what about those with less?. Also, studying a person's personality and having that ability to guess one's ally's next move or reaction was a valuable skill, but it was near impossible to reach, even his parents, he wasn't capable of predicting them.
Karou was honoured in a way, all his great information and facts were all given to him at once, he had listened to everything his teammates had said, it was valuable and useful, he would be perplexed a bit that no one answered his last question though, but with the reaction and the exit of Makoto, it was a good answer, though saying it out would have been better.
Ok, I have learned a lot, hopefully we will do this more often, but till then, I also have to go, Karou said, turning back, he would decide that going to his home was best. He would jump upwards, flipping in mid air he would roll past a few branches, until he landed perfectly on one, his hair flipping upwards due to the sudden stop, he would jump and land on another branch, immediately his feet touched the ground, he would transfer his weight to his toes and jump up again, this resulted in him being launched upwards In an inclined way, he would keep doing this till he was out of the forest ground, and out into the village, when he finally got there, he would walk home

She nodded to Makoto for a moment then looked to Karou. "Well then until next time, for now I'll be doing just that and heading home to get some dinner ready." She mentioned beginning to walk home, and looked to the sky for a moment trying to gain a second breath from being tired from the spar. Then began to head on and saw her brother come up from behind a house. She was a bit surprised by his appearance but she smiled and went home with him and reassuring she was okay even if the spar did seem dangerous.
