| There are four basic thread types, which are specified by tags: O = Open (Thread is open for all who can join) P = Private (Thread is solo and only the person who made it can post in it) I = Invite (Only those who are allowed by the thread-maker can join the thread) NK - No kill (Your character can not be killed inside these threads. All threads are considered Kill Enabled if they do not have the NK tag.)
If no tag is specified, then by default the thread will be open (although this does not necessarily mean that anyone can join if they wanted to). No one is allowed to make a private/invite-only/NK thread in a foreign village (but they can still do so if they make the thread in a foreign nation so long as they're far away from a ninja village).
You are allowed to be in three topics at any one time. Only one of them can be a mission thread, and only one of them can be a kill-enabled combat thread.
Travelling
If you're a Genin, you need permission from your Kage (OOC/IC) and have to be escorted by a ninja of Chunin rank or higher. If you're Chunin rank or higher, you may leave the village so long as you have permission from the Kage. If ninja do not receive permission from their Kage to leave the village, they may be labeled as a missing-ninja.
You must post in the Travel Board before you enter another village/country. It'll take 6 hours OOC time to arrive at your destination.
Thread Interception Rules
You are allowed to intercept someone's exit in an open thread if the exit post is the most recent post that person made and 12 hours has passed by since then. However, the number of people intercepting has to be equal to the number of people left in the thread.

| Missing-Ninja Rules
You can become a Missing-Ninja at any rank, but you would need staff approval. The staff will determine if your character has developed sufficiently and with proper motive to leave the village. After departing, you will make an exit topic which will be open for 48 hours. After your village becomes aware of your departure, they can send ninja after you to bring you back, dead or alive. They have 48 hours to do so, and if they do not post in the topic in time, then you are home free. In the absence of sufficient manpower, the Kage may play as a Jounin NPC who will go after you by him/herself. Invasion Guidelines Even in the chaotic and war-ridden world of the ninja there is a need for order and justice. In this case, this is fulfilled by the existence of the Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai (暗殺戦術特殊部隊; literally meaning "Special Assassination and Tactical Squad"). While ANBU are tasked with many duties, one of their main ones is being the police force of any village major or minor, responding to threats that may come about. The following are the rules regarding the use of NPC ANBU to defend a village from any and all threats.
- Situation 1: The village is being attacked by less than five individuals. The Kage of the village is then given, (# ANBU = # attackers - 1 ANBU) to defend with. Therefore, if two people attack the village one ANBU can be used to defend the village.
- Situation 2: The village is being attacked by five or more individuals. The Kage of the village is then given, (# ANBU = # attackers) to defend with. So, if five people are attacking, the Kage can defend with five ANBU.
Upon placement into their position, all Kage should come up with exactly 10 ANBU; no more, no less. If a previous Kage had already come up with some, then the next Kage can choose to keep those same ones (by re-submitting them for approval) for their term or create new ones. It should be noted that these 10 ANBU can be as detailed as the Kage wants character-wise but all that is required to be written is name, age, gender, and kit (primary type, rank, slot usage, jutsu, and applicable masteries).
- Only one in every five ANBU can have a kekkei genkai.
- ANBU have baseline chakra reserves.
- They follow all rules regarding tokens.
- When an ANBU dies, another can be made in its place after the incident in question has been resolved.
These NPCs should be submitted in a single thread, titled "(KAGE TITLE) (KAGE NAME)'s ANBU", so for example "Kazekage Youka's ANBU." A head moderator or above will accept these like a normal character and then move them to the NPC board. We reserve the right to make you make edits. In the event that a village with no PCs is being taken over, it is a more swift action than that if it is a Major village with PCs involved. As such, here are the rules: Minor/No PC Major villages: NPC Special Forces will be sent to defend the village.(If the village is small enough only the Kage will emerge)After the NPCs have been defeated(staff NPCs) they must face the Kage of the village(Staff NPC). Once the Kage is defeated, the resulting aftermath will leave the villagers in a stay of disarray. However they will most likely accept the new regime if the previous Kage was executed in a public manner. Once the NPCs defending have been killed or subdued they are free to be used like PCs, harvested for DNA, so on and so forth. Major/PC Village: This works differently. This will consist of several Real Life days. The person(s) will enter into the village with a thread proclaiming their intent. The village will have the standard 72 hours to formulate a response to said invasion. Of the invasion is met with no force, then the village may be taken over with no damage done. However, if a fight erupts, both groups must kill or subdue the other side. The last person left standing will dictate which side has won the engagement. The moment the thread is created to attempt the invasion, all Civilian individuals will be safely escorted out of the village unless the invasion team wishes to intercept them. If they do, they will need to combat 6 Ninja, 1 of each skill set.(1 Tai, 1 Nin, 1 Fuin, 1 Puppetry, 1 Gen, and 1 Med ninja). Once a village has been captured the person(s) who captured the village can decide to rule it or destroy it at their discretion. Any and all PCs that have not evacuated the village by the end of the battle will be killed if the village is destroyed.

| Upon entering a thread, one will be required to list the things that they have on their person within their first post. This can be described or it can be listed in a spoiler below.
These things can vary from weapons, to random items, to fuinjutsu seals on their body and practically anything you can think of besides basic clothing.

| Missing Ninja/Rogue-nin may not have private threads, if they enter one through an invite, it automatically becomes an open thread. Private threads: Only one of the three threads you are allowed to have at a time may be a private/closed/invite thread, the other two are automatically considered open. NK/No Kill threads: Only two of your three threads are allowed to be "No Kill". | |

This rule only counts for things that you yourself put on your person. If someone else has placed an item/seal/whatever on you, it doesn't disappear in a new topic if you don't mention it, it will stay in effect
