Early in the morning, Doragon was at the training fields. Of course, he had a reason for being here, just like the few people that were up this early in the morning did. Today, he would work on a recently acquired element, one known as Doton. It was incredibly powerful, because Doton could change the very land most things were restricted too. Doragon could only imagined the power the element had once he started working on higher ranking jutsu, but for now, as he wanted to make sure he really understood the element, he started from the basics. Hopefully, this element would prove as useful as Katon did.
The jutsu in question that was being learned at this moment was the Double Suicide Decapitation. From what he read, he liked the sound of it. It allowed him to move through the ground, adding another layer to combat that the opponent would have to worry about. However, that wasn't even the best part. Simply by touching the opponent beneath the ground, the jutsu would allow him to swap places, which would effectively cause the opponent to be bound, not being able to use handseals for jutsu. Of course, reading through it, he already thought of a weakness. If the user was proficient enough in Doton and had the right jutsu, then they too could travel through the ground before Doragon could end the strike, making the jutsu a little pointless.
The jutsu was simple enough, so simple in fact that he felt like he didn't need to waste any chakra creating a clone. All he had to do was focus, making sure he had the right chakra inputted into the move, and he would be fine. For a brief moment, he focused, channeling his Doton chakra throughout his body. Then, he sunk into the ground, heading towards a training dummy like a bullet. Tapping it, the two swapped places. If this was a battle, the dummy would have been finished under normal circumstances. For a few seconds, he admired his work, glad that he mastered a jutsu so quickly. But, then again, it was only a D-rank jutsu so he didn't need to get so happy.
Since he learned that jutsu pretty quick, he would move on to a higher ranking jutsu, but not too high. As he looked through his book of Doton jutsu, he decided that he would stick with the C-rank. Perusing through the various jutsu until one caught his eye, after a minute, he found something that just might have a place in his arsenal. It was a bit similar to the Double Suicide Decapitation jutsu, except this jutsu was a bit more trickier. It was completely silent, even while the user was initiating a strike. For someone who had a slight preference to stealth, of course, this caught his eye. Plus, like the Double Suicide Decapitation, the jutsu required no handseals which could be used to dodge i coming attacks. It seemed a little weird though, that so many similar jutsu existed at the lower ranks. Hiding Like A Mole was good for people who didn't have sensing capabilities, but Doragon wasn't one of those people. Thus, it was useless for him. Subterranean Voyage seemed to be the most useless of them all, and he didn't know why anyone would want to create a jutsu like this. The description made him tilt his head slightly.
"Why would anyone try to act like a shark? Is this apart of some terror tactic? I don't know, but I believe more efficient ways exist for scaring people off."
Closing the elemental book, now finished on deciding what he wanted, he leaped off of the boulder he was sitting on and began to train the jutsu he needed to do. Again, it didn't have the difficulty required for Doragon to use his Shadow Clone Jutsu to speed up the process. Similar to the process used for the Double Suicide Decapitation, he channeled Doton chakra throughout his body, except this time he put a little bit more into it. Like he predicted, he sunk into the ground, and swiftly, but silently, moved around. After giving it a minute test run, he popped up underneath the ground.
"Another jutsu master..I think that'll be it for now. I need to get some calories."
Since learning these two jutsu didn't take much time, he would be sure to come back later. But, for now, he felt a little hungry, another thing he wish he couldn't feel. Somehow he wished that his body wasn't limited by these things, but alas, he wasn't a puppeteer of some kind, nor had any medical training to take out these flaws. So, he was stuck with this sack of flesh, and he would have to deal with it. He left the training field to get some healthy food.
