| Clan Name: Kori (The Royal Family of Kumogakure) (氷; Literally meaning: Ice)Clan Location: Kumogakure / Land of Lightning Size: The Royal Family is split into two branches, these branches are divided by only one factor. This factor being whether the member of the family is born with the families kekkei genkai or not. Those born without the kekkei genkai are placed into the Sakura (Cherry;桜) branch while those born with the kekkei genkai are placed into the Yanagi (Willow; 柳) branch.
- The Sakura branch may have a infinite number of members. Members of this branch are considered the political figures of the clan, although many of the past members have been skilled shinobi while also functioning as the leaders of the clan. Members of the Sakura branch are usually clan heads and other high ranking members of the family. Being part of this branch gives the name of the royal family and very high ranking in the clan, although you do not have the clans kekkei genkai.
- The Yanagi branch can have up to 7 pc members (If full, possible to join if you have approval from a admin). The Yanagi branch are considered to be the blades of the Royal family. Outsiders of the clan have named the Yanagi branch the Royal Guard, which is also the code word used for the Yanagi branch on the battle field. The Yanagi branch is organized into 7 seats. Additional seats are sometimes created in rare occasions. The seats are ordered by strength, 7 being the weakest and 1 being the strongest. Although, all members of the Yanagi branch are known to be extremely powerful and even 7's are feared on the battle field. This is all based on the opinion of the clan, the Sakura branch rates the strength of each member and then places them in a seat they see fitting.
- To officially earn the title of your seat in the Yanagi branch you must be of chuunin rank or higher. Although, you can reserve your seat until you reach the required rank.
- Members of the Yanagi Branch are also given nicknames based off of their abilities or appearance. (Just think of something clever as your characters nickname that relates your characters abilities or appearance.)

- Members of the Sakura branch vary on appearance. No specific guide lines.
- Members of the Yanagi branch vary on appearance as well, although they are noted to have unusual colored eyes. This varies from gold to red to white eyes.
- Yanagi Branch Kekkei Genkai:
Those born with the kekkei genkai are placed into the Yanagi branched and trained by elders of the village how to master their clans kekkei genkai. The Yanagi branch still has relationships with others in the clan and are actually very respected within the clan. Even though the Sakura branch is considered higher in political stature.
This kekkei genkai is known as Haton (玻遁; Glass Release) This element is created by mixing of Earth & Fire chakra natures. Glass release is a extremely versatile element that can be used offensively and defensively. Members of the Kori family who use glass release are well known for intensive training and for shifting the tides of battle. The name of the clan is Kori, which means ice. It is rumored that this name is associated with the reflective surface ice has, similar to glass.
History: - Kori History :
Up until about 2 years ago, the Royal Family had lived on the outskirts of Kumogakure. Up until that time, the family would work independently in the Land of Lightning until one of the neighboring families attempted to assassinate the Kori family while a majority of the Yanagi branch was away. Kumogakure received a distress call from the palace and sent their shinobi to help the Kori family. Even with the aid of Kumo shinobi though, the battle was rough. The shinobi and few Yanagi branch members who were present were able to move a majority of the Royal family to safety. Making the palace of Kori a battle field between a neighboring family and Kumo/Kori. As the battle continued a few members of the Yanagi branch rushed back to palace to aid in the battle. Until they arrived, Kumo's forces were being destroyed as well as the Kori's family shinobi and few yanagi branch as well. The enemy was well prepared to take on the kumo shinobi, although there was a reason they didn't strike until a majority of Yanagi were away from the palace. This reason being because the enemy knew how powerful they are.
After a dent was put into Kumo's forces, seats 2-4 arrived at palace. When arriving they quickly swayed the battle into their favor with ease. Working together with the kumo ninja to take down the enemy. The kumo shinobi remarked on how scary they would be if they were the enemies. After a long battle, the enemy forces were destroyed and the family heads were executed while the lowers were exiled. Shortly after, the kumo shinobi told their higher ups about the incredible force of the Yanagi branch and made a deal with the Kori family. This deal was that the Kori family could build a new palace within Kumogakure and became a working part of the political affairs involving Kumogakure. Usually working as the figure heads of the village, so long as the village could make use of their Yanagi branch members to work as shinobi within the village. Although, they are still part of the Yanagi branch seat system as well. The Kori family agree'd to the deal and set up home in Kumogakure walls. Since then, they have worked together well.
Bloodline Reputation: The Royal Family (Kori Family) is extremely well known throughout the world. Not only because they are one of the wealthiest and powerful royal families but also because of their Yanagi branch. Throughout history people have feared the power of the Kori Family. Producing powerful leaders and powerful shinobi in the Sakura Branch while also producing elite warriors in the Yanagi branch. To outsiders of the Royal Family, the Yanagi branch members have earned the nick name of Royal Guard. Which is also used in military situations as code name. Clan Jutsus: A majority of the clans jutsu are custom jutsu created by the user of the technique, these unique techniques are how some of the seats of the Yanagi family earn their nicknames. Although, there are a few techniques that most members of the Yanagi branch do know and share. - Jutsu:

Description: The user creates a dome around him that can hold others as well. This dome appears to be completely transparent until light shines through it on the right spots, refracting the light and making a transparent rainbow on the dome. The dome is a technique used for centuries by the family to protect others in the family. The technique can withstand physical attack up to a strength of 82, all jutsu up to B-rank, can withstand two B-rank jutsu. 3 or More with destroy the barrier while any jutsu above B-rank will as well.
