Appearance:Irregular eyes notwithstanding, Haruaki's physical traits are in and of themselves unremarkable - his 185 centimeters isn't far from the average, and weighing around 73 kilograms, he's neither fat nor skinny. In broad terms, he's nothing out of the ordinary: a fairly young male, late teens or early twenties with dark hair, piercing eyes, and forgettable features typically bearing some form of a smile.
As with all things, however, the specifics are far more interesting. His build is not entirely unlike that of a predatory feline: lithe, graceful, and deceptively strong. With a straight back and confident stride, Haruaki gives the distinct impression of having a background in noble etiquette, as he carries himself like a clan's heir/heiress - relaxed yet proper, with an economy of movement most readily associated with those in the martial profession. If there's one thing abundantly clear, it's that Haruaki possesses the body of a fighter, and has the potential skills of one, too.
The myriads scars that cover his body seem to reinforce that conclusion: it's very clear from the burnt marks and gashes across his shoulder, back, chest, arms, and legs that at some point in his young life, Haruaki lived a life full with violence.
His sense of dress is tasteful and refined, though always worn with a carefree attitude: dark pants - dark, yes, but never black - and maroon shirt form the basis of his wardrobe, and he complements it with typical black tabi boots(or regular footwear when off duty), a discreet weapon pouch(or belt when off duty), and a penchant for rolling up his sleeves to just under his elbow. Traditional kimonos and modernized suits are a part of his wardrobe but rarely does he wear them excluding a few exceptions. When not on duty, replacing the kiri headband hanging from his neck, is a plain sterling silver necklace, Haruaki wears no other jewelry whatsoever. His endeavors to remain clean shaven, but every once in a while he just can't seem to find the time.
