Name: Doragon Ken
Nickname: None, yet.
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Height: 5"6
Weight: 130 pounds
Appearance: For all intents and purposes, Doragon looks as unique as the generic background anime character. His face isn't the most prettiest in the world, sitting on the fine line between average and good looking. Doragon's eyes are as green as the leaves during a fresh spring, always perceptive and analyzing something. He is a well built person, having extensive training in Taijutsu. He sports the type of figure that many other people dream of, although since he is well trained the bulk doesn't hinder his speed at all. Doragon has a six pack, firm and prominent. His legs, just like the rest of his body has been built for Taijutsu. The hair on his head is a solid black just like the night sky, and it is short. His build is quite athletic.
Doragon doesn't have a set outfit, believing that to be borderline retarded for anyone who wants to be a shinobi. Thus, he uses any outfit necessary for the situation at hand. Even his headband varies in its location, although he usually has it on his forehead. Doragon's voice is slightly deeper then usual, but he doesn't suffer from a monotone voice, having a full range of emotions to choose from. He also seems to always have some type of weapon in his hand, stemming from his general paranoia about things.
Village: Kumogakure
Character Rank: Genin
Clan: n/a
Element: n/a
Personality: Doragon, coming from a family of ninja who intend on doing the job "right", acts very much like how a ninja "should" act. First of all, he is very much the strong but silent type. He sees no need with speaking unless he's spoken to or giving commands, because as his family told him, it's a waste of vital energy. However, although he speaks no words, his mind is quite active, formulating plans in his head and choosing to observe rather then speak. His analytical tendencies causes him to do things that may seem weird to others, but perfectly normal and rational to him.
Secondly, he has a bit of a problem with "paranoia", at least that's what others call it. In his opinion, what others call Paranoia, he calls a perfectly sensible trait. For this reason, he's nearly always on edge, always ready to attack someone. Something like someone reaching for something in a holster, even if it's a friend is very suspicious to him, and he may even initiate an attack in fear of being hurt or even killed. Because of his paranoia, he is constantly mentally analyzing everyone around him, assessing the skill level they possess, and even figuring out what type of history they have. All of this information is stored in scrolls that he sometimes carries around. He uses this in case of a defection, the information acting like a contingency plan.
Third, he is very cold to the world around him. Making bonds is something that he just doesn't like to do, as his parents told him, making bonds with ninja is just bad. Because when they die, you'll be afflicted with grief and will under perform. So for now, he looks at other shinobi, even people in his village as simply business associates. Doragon hasn't really felt himself wanting friends in the first place, so the process to "normalize" him may be a difficult and long road. However, despite being a cold person he will do what the mission asks him to do, like comforting someone as convincingly as possible. As a ninja, he is extremely good at acting.
In combat, he is essentially what a ninja should be: Quick, quiet, and to the point. Honor and such trivial things like the sort mean nothing to him, and he usually takes the most easy and efficient way out. When forced to do a direct battle, however, he uses tactics that others may consider low, such as taunts and attacks "below the belt." It was a bit unsettling that an academy student would go for these type of tactics, so when the psychiatric tests came around, he explained that his brother was killed because of this concept. Running away, or "retreating" as he likes to call it is a completely valid strategy as well. So is getting 5 of his allies to jump one guy.
Character History: Doragon had a mostly normal life as a child. No parental death, no getting tortured, no friends dying in front of him. His parents were extremely supportive of him, and his brother wasn't an abusive prick. In fact, he wanted to be a lot like his brother, which inspired him to take up a career as a ninja. So, from the age of four, all the way to the age of six, his parents, along with his brother would help Doragon prepare for the academy. The family was very close, but serious nature which made them a little bit secluded when it came to family events and interactions, as the bigger part of the family were mostly carefree shinobi. His parents taught him what a shinobi should be. Cold, calculating, and cunning.
However, his normal life had been interrupted by the tragic news that his brother had been killed on a mission. A few weeks later, he learned the details behind his death, and was shocked to hear that his brother's honorable behavior even carried into the mission. Instead of taking out the opponent with his squad, he felt like he could do it himself and told them to stay out of it. Since he was the second in command, and they respected him, they decided to listen to him, and now he was dead. It didn't really cause despair to him; Doragon and his brother often had very realistic talks about how dangerous this line of work was, even talking about he wasn't fit for the job. Now, with his death, it really taught him what he meant. His "honor" wasn't fit for the task of shinobi, assigned to do pretty slimy stuff. He then vowed to himself that he wouldn't end up dead, and made sure to pick up some of the "dirtier" tactics that he saw when the older shinobi sparred inside of the compound. He did everything he could to make sure he was extra prepared for what he assumed to be a hard school life.
When he was six, he was officially entered into the academy. Being apart of a rather well regarded family, people expected a lot of him. Nonetheless, he was up to the challenge, excelling in combat and on tests. However, his superiors did notice that he didn't really interact with any of his family members, mostly because of the huge personality difference. Gouken was very popular with others though, and could easily command or keep everyone's spirits up. He excelled in Ninjutsu, but definitely had the body for Taijutsu, and had excellent chakra control in case he ever took an interest in Genjutsu. Even though he was popular, he took care not to form any major bonds with anyone. After all, he didn't want to risk the pain of loss impairing his abilities.
By the age of twelve, with stellar grades and easily passing the final exam, Doragon is waiting to be picked up by a squad: one that he deems isn't weak. Meanwhile, he is training and doing missions so he won't become a burden to his squad.
