Name: Enkai Uchiha Taiyou
Nickname: N/A
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 175
Appearance: Tall and proud, Enkai stands with his head raised, confidence exuding from him with every motion that he makes. Despite a life of characteristic hardships considering his bloodline, he seems, outwardly at least, unfazed. He does not have an overly bright or cheery disposition, but he has not allowed fate to throw him in the mud and trample on him. Due to his dual lineage, he feels the sharp heat of deep pride course through his veins and can back this pride up with his skill and wit. His face reflects this not only in the way he holds it but also in its features. He possesses bit of a small nose though strong in the bridge, ears which stick just a touch out from his head, beautifully arched, golden eyes, thick and angular eyebrows, and a thin mouth which quirks up on the right side in an almost perpetual smirk.
A testament to a life of physical training, the boy has toned his body to an almost inhumane degree, his every muscle prominently visible even beneath thick clothing. His thick, dark hair belies his Uchiha blood, though few guess at it when looking at him due to his hairstyle, short cut and spiked out at the front, and golden eyes. Curiously, though he spends most of his time in the mist, he sports nicely browned skin of a golden hue. For dress, he prefers a thick, dark gray jacket which zips and fastens on his right side and a dark red scarf, though he does tend to change this up freely. He usually wears dark gray pants as well, comfortable and practical, as well as dark brown boots when he chooses to wear shoes. He looks quite often like a civilian, particularly in that he does not ever wear any clan or village affiliation symbols.
Village: Kirigakure
Character Rank: D
Clan: Uchiha
Element: N/A
Personality: Enkai is a proud man, though this pride extends exclusively to himself. He praises the strength of his clan and of his warrior heritage, though he takes no particular pride simply in the happenstance of his birth. He does feel a great sense of personal achievement in having awoken the great powers of his clan, of having mastered the techniques and abilities that he has, and having learned the things that he has. His village and family consider him somewhat of a genius, and he shares these sentiments, so much so that he comes off, to many, as arrogant and cocky, likely because he is the latter. He does, however, manage to temper his arrogance with a calculating and meticulous logic which allows him to see clearly in situations.
Beneath his fiery and cocky exterior, Enkai conceals an extreme intellect aided by an eidetic memory and ability to rapidly think through various situations in an instant, so much so as to multitask on a true level. Not only does this give him a huge edge in hand to hand combat, a personal favorite of his, as he can react quickly and effectively to all manner of attacks, it gifts him with a uniquely political mind. An amazing liar and a person capable of juggling countless lies, he finds himself extremely suited to manipulating people in any way he sees fit, particularly when he isn’t too busy boasting.
In relationships, Enkai can be difficult to warm up to and even more difficult to win over. Naturally mistrustful of other people and their actions and in a position where he believes himself to be unparalleled in power and intellect, he finds making friends somewhat difficult. However, when he does manage to find someone with whom he feels a bond, he can become rather obsessive around them, preferring to spend large amounts of time with them, which can wear on people a bit. He does not, though, bind himself so tightly that their loss would derail his life; he is a shinobi and as such, he expects loss of friends and family.
Character History: Born to the prestigious Uchiha clan, Enkai knew no one in his family, having only the faintest of memories of his mother, likely fabricated as a result of a small picture of him and his mother which he keeps with him. Still, he, in a small part of his mind and soul, clings to these memories as a reminder of where he came from and the clan to which he belongs. They are long gone though, his family killed off in a raid long ago by a marauding band of the clan’s rivals, the Senju. Not understanding the rivalry between the two families, Enkai was left, spared for some unknown reason and eventually found by a family of samurai.
He was raised then by the samurai, in a small but prominent family of the group, brought up as one of their own. There, in this new family, he trained hard, practicing every day in the way of the blade and in his body. He practiced ninjutsu and clan techniques as well, as best he could with limited information, whenever he was not training in with his samurai family. Eventually, he grew old enough to leave them and set out to the Land of Mist and Kirigakure, gaining admittance there and passing through the academy in almost no time at all. The Uchiha generally accepted him as a fellow member, though his upbringing alienated him from some of the clansmen; among the samurai, he was not only an amazing fighter but essentially royalty, belonging to one of the most powerful families there. As such, he came to expect certain things which, in his new life, were not afforded to him. Regardless, he has managed to fit in rather well and, up until recently, has seen the First Mizukage Rei as a kind of equal, marking him as the only person befitting of that title.
