it's gonna be a long day

Karou was snoring heavily on his bed, he was in a small apartment secured by his parents not after he got to Konoha, that is what they would call a house for the meantime. The house was small but it was a little convenient, if it wasn't, Karou's mother wouldn't even be there, she might have been a bandit, but she won't settle for just anything, there were times when Karou's mother would let her victims go when she found out that her victims were way beyond poor.

They really needed a bigger one and a classy one though, the house was stuffed, mostly with things of his mother, mums and women are like that, make up, bras, panties, bags, brushes e.t.c. There was no way you would have a female in the house and she wouldn't take up a considerable amount of space.
Karou was unsure about the method that his parents used to get into Konoha, maybe they took a secret route or just the main gate where he passed, which obviously a guard left unguarded after the unknown man approached Karou and took his blood. Karou had thought about it for a while, his parents had told him that he shouldn't give a piece of him out so cheaply, nobody should be trusted except those that were in his pack.
Karou was still enjoying his little sleep, his window was in form of a sliding window, he slid a part of the window open, which allowed few obstruction to the breeze that sipped into his room. Karou was in his room, the breeze blowing his curtain, which led it to undergo a random and unpredictable dance. A noctural bird would fly into the glass window, making an impact with it thanks to it's incredible low-light vision, the bird would start diving down involuntarily due to the angle the impact recoiled it to, it thought it was another bird and attacked the glass thanks to their dumb reasoning and incredible miniature brain.
The bird would flap it's wings again like it's life depended on it, which was true, with the rigorous flapping of the bird's wings, the bird would start hovering, it would rise towards the window again, it would attempt a hover strike on the window, scratching it, with the bird's dumb brain telling it that it didn't hit, the bird would keep hitting the window until the sound travelled into Karou's ears, waking him up from his slumber.
Karou would wake up with his eyes closed, he would roll to the other side only to hear something hit his window, could It be an attack? Or could it be a message?, if it is, why at this time of the day?, Karou's mind would be engaged in thoughts, Karou's thinking was similar to an adult's, though he possessed some childish traits and some immature behaviours. Karou roll to the other end of the bed, the farthest from the window, once he landed, he would reach for his trench knives below his bed, he took it and armed it . He stood up cautiously, he would tip-toe towards the window where the sound kept coming and was getting louder. Walking towards the window silently, Karou would tuck his hand out violently only for his knife to decapitate the bird, A bird, a bird?, seriously, a bird woke me up from my deep slumber, fuck you!, good thing you're dead. Karou walked back towards his bed, jumping and landing with a thud, he would stare at nothing suub-consciously, attempting to woo the goddess of sleep, it wouldn't take much for his efforts to pay off. He would start having drowsy vision, his eyelids were demanding that they stayed in contact with each other, Karou would close his eyes, losing control of himself while the goddess of sleep helped him in her graceful hands. He would start snoring again until he was woken up by a voice, a familiar voice, the voice of his mother.
Karou get up, get up, it's time for breakfast. Karou heard all this in his room, he didn't feel like standing but he knew that his mother would force him to eat the food if he said he wasn't willing to eat it anyways. I'm coming mom he said. He would walk towards the sitting room, which looked like a small sitting room, only to have a small section out of it for eating, that was where Karou walked to, it wouldn't take him long however to notice that his dad wasn't present. Where's dad? I haven't seen him this morning Karou inquired. Oh, he's on a mission, you know we ain bandits no more, so we gotta do missions to earn a living now Karou's mother spoke. Karou would drag the chair back and sit on it, in front of him was a wooden table covered with a napkin and his red-haired mother at his opposite end. Karou and his mother would start eating, both wouldn't utter a word until the food in front of them had been completely devoured, to Karou's mother, your manners and etiquettes are all that matters.

Karou was done with breakfast, he didn't have much that he wanted to do anyway, so he just walked to his room, he would lay on the bed before he knew that the sun had risen over the horizon, now the light was seeping into his left eye, it penetrated his curtain . He shielded it from the rays with his left hand and decided that he would just go out . Mom, I'm going out. Don't know when I'll be back, bye for now Karou shouted. But kiddo, where are you going this early, can't you sit down and talk with me his mother inquired. Look mom, I do not like having those little talks with you, adults don't always find a way into a kid's heart, your talks are always boring, there's no difference with you talking and those elderly men. The breeze would gently slap Karou by, it was still dawn, yet the streets of konohagakure was a little noisy, could it be that the people are celebrating a special day or it's just the way people in the hidden leaf are?. This was his first time out in the dawn in Konohagakure No Sato, the wind would keep blowing his clothes backwards a bit, the more he walked, the more noise that came from the background. The more time he walked the more the streets were crowded too, Karou would stomp on rustling trees, he would keep going on, maybe he should just walk around Konoha, it would be good if he just familiarised himself with the surrounding. He would keep moving until someone would stop him. Hey, wait up, I have something for you an unknown man said, Karou would look sideways to see whether the man was talking to him which he wasn't in his range of sight. Yes you, the one who just looked left, wait up Karou heard, now he was able to pinpoint the direction of the sound. Karou turned left only to see a badly dressed chuunin approach him. You're a shinobi of the leaf right the chuunin would ask. Yeah I am, ain't everyone here? the Uzumaki would answer. Yes, everyone here is a Konoha citizen, but sometimes we get some visitors, I haven't seen you around, this is my first time seeing you, what's your name?. Ugh, my name is Karou, yeah, I'm new here, no more introductions, so let's skip to the important part. Why were you calling me Karou would ask with a stern voice. Well I've been given this mission scrolls to deliver to anyone with the village head-band, here take it the chuunin stretched his hand. Karou took the missiOn scrolls from him and unrolled one, after glancing at it for some seconds, he would nod to the chuunin, Yeah, I'd just complete this mission first, by the way, where is the hospital?

You don't have to worry, you'll find the hospital yourself, if you don't just ask the chuunin said and turned back, Karou's eyes darted at the man, he lunged himself upwards, disappearing from sight. Karou himself knew that the house they lived in had a lot of herbs since it was near to the woods, they hadn't acquired much money to live in the main streets yet. Karou could remember his mother showing him some herbs for a drink good for one's metabolism. Karou ran to the woods, he bolted off, not failing to jump on buildings to avoid the unwaving concentration of people on the street. He had walked for a while, but he had gotten to his destination, the sun had dominated the land of fire completely, the rays were now everywhere, Karou walked into the woods, from point to point, he would see rabbits and squirrels, running for shelter once they had something walking. Karou would keep walking until his eyes caught an identical plant, Aahh, there it is he said, he went closer and uprooted 3 of the plants, he would hold them and keep looking for more. Karou would soon turn back though, he was walking too deep In the forest, it's sure that bandits would be there, so he turned back and would keep searching a safe distance, he would walk around a bit and find two more herbs, they were closely planted but were not the same, uprooting 6 plants which comprised the two herbs he had just found in the ratio 3:3. Karou now had 9 herbs in his hand, he didn't hold it too tight so as not to squeeze it though, he kept running but to be honest, he had no clue of the hospital. He would stOp by a bit, asking people that had smiles on their faces alone, Hello sir Karou said shying, Yes, what do you want ?, Uhm, I'm looking for the hospital, van you direct me there?. Of course I can, just turn to your right, turn right again, walk forward and turn left, you'll identify the hospital with a big banner that reads Konohagakure Hospital the man said, Karou thanked the man and ran forward, he turned left and also turned left, he saw a large structure that read Konohagakure Hospital, there was no mistaking it, this is the hospital he needed to deliver the herbs. He walked in and went straight to a nurse which he delivered the herbs to, the nurse took the herbs and went to the pharmacist, giving the pharmacist the herbs.

Karou was in the hospital when he noticed grandmas all around him, one of them called him, Hey, little boy, can you lease get my drugs at the pharmacist, I have a sour and bad back, I don't think I'll be able to make it. Karou heard the old woman say that, then it wasn't long before the others asked him if he could do that for them too, Karou didn't want to look rude by refusing their orders, so he said he'd do it, he went to the receptionist and told him that the grannies told him to help them take their drugs. The pharmacist assumed that he was saying the truth and so let him go, delivering the drugs to Karou, with that, Karou would go to meet the grannies, delivering their drugs to them one-by-one, after that, some would ask him to help them read the inscriptions and writings on it, which he would read perfectly for their comprehending, after that, he helped a grannie get her clutches that just fell off her hands while sitting. Having enough of the grannies, he would proceed to leave the hospital, only to be stopped by them again, but this time, the wrinkled faces of the old women were wearing smiles, Since you've helped us this much, we'll like to give you milk and candies, it mght be a little for you, but please accept it. Karou'e eyes widened, he smiled and accepted the milk and cookies, it was so much that he had to get a bag to put them, his metabolism would do some work in the next few hours. Karou walked out of the hospital. With a smile on his face

Karou walked out of the hospital with a smile and a bag loaded with milk and candy, he reached inside the bag and took 5 candy sticks, he levelled it with his teeth and licked the rest. He however needed to keep the candies safe, he was going when he heard a man screaming, Somebody please help me, please, please please, I didn't mean to lose them, I just wanted to make them play a little, please, somebody help me!!. Who could be screaming like that?. Karou said, the man would repeat the sentence again, with every passing moment, it was getting more and more easier for him to track the man, he got to the man in no time and demanded for an explanation, What's wrong?, why are you shouting like a lunatic?. You may think that I am a lunatic, but I am not, I just lost 2 children in my daycare, ahhhhn, I'm freaking out, been looking for them since, I just wanted them to go out and have a little fun, please help me, don't say no. Please!!!. The man begged, tears started to slide down his cheeks, Karou had never seen an adult shedding tears, and in someway, it was striking him in his heart. Ok, I'll help you, how do they look like?. The man smiled upon hearing what Karou said, Thank you for agreeing to this, I swear I'll pay you if you find them, well both are boys, one has dark hair, green eyes and wears a green jumpsuit, the other looks just like him, they're twins. Please hurry up, I don't want their parents knowing of this. Ok, I will, I'll get them as fast as I can. Karou jumped up on a tall building, the best shot he'll have in searching for the boys will be to have a bird's eye view, Karou hopped from one rooftop to another, checking the edges time to time to look for two boys that matched the description given to him by the man. Karou would keep jumping, jumping and jumping, then his eye would catch something, a boy in green, Karou jumped and spinned down, landing with a front roll, he would encounter the boy only to see that the boy has blue instead of black hair. He continued his search, this time, the day was young, he would keep searching in vain, every corner, every creepy place he checked, any dark corner he met he checked, but he couldn't find them, Where on earth are this children?. Karou wanted to search a bit more and if it yielded no positive results, he would just go back and tell the man to face the angry mother. Karou searched everwhere he could possibly search, nothing, This does it, I'm done with this. Karou began to move back to the vicinity he last saw the man. He was sweating profusely, he had ran for like an hour, he had been searching in vain, Karou would keep walking, with the man less than 500m away from Karou, Karou would begin to think, Well, I couldn't find the kids, so I should think of what to say when I get to him, he'll be so heartbroken. Karou would walk. towards the man until he heard the sound of two young boys, Could that be them? he thought, peeping into the playground, he 7hjwould see two boys on a swing, they were in green jumpsuits and they had black hair. That must be them, stupid kids, you've been playing along while I've been busy looking for you, damn you!!, but I better not let my frustration scare this kids and make them escape, I have to catch them in a way, maybe my ninja wire can help. Karou stood there, then an idea popped up in his mind, he reached for his ninja wire, fastening two kunais to the ends of the wire, he would run out screaming, this startled the kids who decided to run, Karou threw a ninja wire 4m to the left of the kids and ran to the right and reached a distance 2m behind them,, the path he took eventually pinned the kids to a wall thanks to the ninja wire. Now kids, none of you should try anything funny, or Karou brought out a kunai immediately, the hilt of the kunai would roll around his palm, I injure youu. With that, Karou knew that the boys would be afraid to run with his little showoff, he rolled the ninja wire back in his pouch and put the kunai back In his holster. He dragged the kids to the daycare, the kids unwilling to go, that would all change when Karou smacked them with a hard knock.
Karou walked to the man, when the man saw him, he was delighted, the man ran towards Karou and hugged him, landing a kiss on Karou's cheek which made Karou to comment, [color=I'm not gay sir, ahem!!, I'll be taking my reward[/color]. Okay, I'm sorry for what I did, here( he showed Karou an envelope with money), that's your reward, thank you!. Karou collected the envelope and watched as the man took the kids in.

Now Karou was done with a lot of bullshit, he was starting to like Konoha for no obvious reason, he couldn't believe that he did all those without even ordered a scroll. He was walking away, he would now try to go home, he would gaze at the nearby buildings, he would admire the works of different carpenters and brick layers, all cunning with the tools they use in their work. Karou himself was a good artist himself, he also painted, though he wasn't sure if that had became a little recessive in him due to the little training and challenges he gave himself. He would now start walking to his house, before he remembered that his candy and milk wasn't with him, Oh shit, I forgot my candy, I left it somewhere in the vicinity I helped the man look for his lost daycare children, it better still be safe.
Karou would run with all his might, but he felt that the crowdy streets were retarding his speed, so he would resort to jumping up, leaping from one rooftop to another. With that, his speed was increased, it wouldn't take long before he got to the place and saw the bag filled with candy in a corner near the daycare. Thank goodness nothing happened to it, and nobody touched it[/b.] Karou took the candy and milk bag, [b]Hello bag, hello goodies, we're gonna have a nice time together, hahahaha. Karou opened his mouth wide, a candy would be seen falling into it, he would close his mouth and start chewing, Yum yum, yum yum yum yum yum, candy is so yummious, yummy yummy yummish, yum yum yum.. Karou would say all this, he was a kid afterall, his height was however the only thing that would create doubt. Karou grabbed the 100ryo and the bowl of ramen, beside the ramen was a paper tag that had the place he should drop the ramen at, the place wasn't far really, besides Karou could eat the ramen if he liked or not deliver it, is the restaurant that rich or are they just dumb, their ridiculous promo would probably make them run out of business, Karou walk and deliver the bowl of ramen(covered though) to it's designated destination, for some reason, he couldn't hold back and he ran back to the ramen shop, he would take 5 more bowls and 500ryo, and he would deliver the bowls to their designated destinations. Now Karou was done for the day, he would be a little tired, "it's time to go home, aarrghh, what a boring day"
he would say. He would start walking to their new house, not sure of what his mother would think of him for leaving home like that
